Scared the shit out of me in the nineties. O boy, it seemed very real. I always had nightmares of him back then.

I didn't even know what the story was about. I only knew of a ghost terrorizing every cast in the movie including the viewers.

I found it hard staying in the dark rooms alone.

Me too. Can't remember what the story was all about. But willie willie terrorized me even though now, I have a big thing for horror movies.

Dude used to visit our house back then.

...and i remember one particular day when my Dad had to introduce him to us all.

On hearing my Dad say that he's the very man who act as "Willie Willie" we all scampered grin

Before going to bed at night, our parents would tell us to go pee outside before retiring to bed.

Now after watching the program, we would be so scared to go outside and pee.
If we managed to go urinate, we would be looking both left and right to be sure Willie Willie wasn't coming.

And the moment we're through with urination we would tear race into the house with the speed of light.

I really enjoyed my childhood days sha.

I also remembered when Willie Willie came to Warri.
While on a live stage we were told he wants to vanish only for the entire lights to go off in a failed bid to smuggle him from the stage.

The guy nearly received the beatings of his life that year.

That Chucky haunted my childhood, damnn. I dey sneak enter my parents bedroom go sleep between the for like two weeks straight after i watch the Chucky movie. It even made me hate dolls till today.

When he makes the sound he makes.......like.....eeeeehhhhhhh.... gosh my head would sweell three times more than normal. Then wondered why the victims would run, then decide to stop somewhere to rest, then he appears in his whote regalia.....and sinks teeth in their necks sometimes even biting them twice when he's taking them to his grave side.

McHale never died.

Thank GOD I wasn't born that period to watch that scary and horror movie... Am still allegic of horrow movies (run turn, immortality garden, vanpire's diary/the original)

This Willie Willie scared me a lot then I was in junior primary school.
One day i vowed that i must not be scared by this Willie Willie again.
As i came back from school that day and sat down on the floor to watch this horror film and i was alone and i gathered enough moral.
As i was watching my heart was pounding heavily but i tried to ignore it.
All of a sudden the ghost Willie Willie appeared from the air and fiam!
I ran out with speed and never came back to the house untill everybody returned that day .
Odiegwu in those days.
