Congrats to Liverpool...

Not one bit surprised by Chelsea's performance... Assembling superstars is one thing, putting them to work and bringing the best out of them is solely for legends!!! Lampard should take notes from:

Pep Guardiola
Carlo Ancellotti (Everton is already soaring)
Mikel Arteta
Zinedine Zidane
Jose Mourinho (He grudgingly earned back my respect today) grin
Hans-Dieter Flick (The current King among coaches)

Lampard and Ole need to humble themselves, resign and go to their coaching level (Fulham, BHA, Stokes, Newcastle, etc)... They are going to keep embarrassing themselves and the top clubs they are managing currently.

Nairaland Mods deliberately kept me out of today's game!!! I just dey laugh them! Such pettiness!!! grin
Lampard is an amateur. He did not take the time to learn properly.

Arteta learned from the master like an apprentice.

No wonder, he is better than ole and lampard.

They didnt look like scoring in 45 minutes.
Chelsea had the game in control. Flood the midfield and catch liverpool on a counter.

But even liverpool did, it would have been end to end goals.

That red card killed the game. It is not a surprise they scored soon after.

And lampard is too amaturish to adapt.

Chelsea lost the game the moment the game started, they all ran back to their own half to pack the bus after kneeling for the 1 minute BLM observation.

A team that belives on themselves and wants to win a game won't start like that, you only do that to protect a lead towards the tail-end of a game and not immediately the game begins, that's an own goal.

I said from the very onset that Lampard is on industrial attachment at Chelsea. He just can't coach Chelsea. One reason I dislike him is that he applies sentiment in selection process. He should get the hell out of the club.

They will make excuses for those they have been terrorising us with.

Before anything you will hear Kai.

Before you blink you will hear Timo,

Before you look they will tell you they are the best.

Well, my own Thiago Alca-control doesn't need my excuses.

Chelsea's woeful outing today, coming after the rubbish we saw at Old Trafford yesterday, clearly underscores how amateurish and pathetic these 2 coaches are...

Look at the excellent performances from Leeds, Spurs, Arsenal, etc, with worse teams than the 2 idiots above! What a shame!!! grin

I won't make a good coach since I'm not trained as one and that's not my area of expertise but I have watched the game long enough to know when my team is falling short and also knows where to put the blame.

This game started with a psychological defeat going by the defensive mood that was activated immediately the game started and I blame the coach for that. By so doing, you are telling your players that this is not a winnable game for them and that they are very inferior to their opponent and all they need to do is to cut down the numbers of goals they will concede by parking the bus even before your opponent starts attacking you.

It is like retreating even before the battle begins which is a recipe for self destruction just like Chelsea did today.

Well said... But it would have been a different story if waina grin grin(Werner) had slot in those chances he had
Lampard had a plan( Catch them on the counter)... Correct ne if I'm wrong
Fabino was just absolutely sport on in his judgenent!

I wasn't expecting this kind of score line anyway

A depleted chelsea team that conceded the most goals in the top 6, playing against the defending champion that scored five against you in the last time you met?

It would be naive to come all out against the defending champion right from the first minute.

The correct approach would be to be conservative, size up the opponent and then gradually be more expansive, maybe in the second half.

And it was working, if not for the hopeless christensen.

It's beyond sentiments sir... It borders on clueless!!! Nagelsman, Erik Ten Hag, Bielsa, even Chris Wilder won't lose to Liverpool with such an amazing set of players.

Bielsa went toe to toe with this same Liverpool team, almost securing a point away from home, with average players!!!

I can't understand the rubbish coaching going on in Man United and Chelsea currently... Tueh!!!

Chelsea just committed suicide.

Take away kepa and christiansen from that game, and it would have ended atleast in a draw.

There is mentality at Chelsea...even if Messi and Ronaldo joined Chelsea tomorrow, they will start making dumb decision in opponent box18.

ATimo Werner and kante had the chance to hurt Liverpool, but they keep hesitating in box18.

Timo has joined Chelsea dry footballing...kante faced Liverpool net but did back pass.

Werner faced the net slowed down waiting Liverpool defenders to catch-up.

This is a norm at Chelsea. The only player not yet indocrinated is pulisic, I guess that's why lampard doesn't like him.

Negativity is Chelsea hallmark...negative football is made in chelsea .

We need an attacking coach..not this joke called lampard

German education is top notch.

In every area.

It is said that to pass as a licenced coach from germany, you need to do 800 hours of work.

That is the strictest in Europe.

Hansi Flick, Jurgen Klopp, Thomas Tuchel, Julian Nagelsmann.

All german, all among the best 5 managers in the world right now, along with pep guardiola.

Coaching is scientific. You need to learn.

Lampard should go and learn.

The NFF signed a training deal with la-liga.

When they should have sent all our amateur coaches to germany to go and learn the real hard work.

By the time they graduate, Nigerian football at all levels will change.

Not buying this excuse at all.
A defending champion that conceded 3 goals to a championship team that just got promoted to EPL is a proof that they are fallible with the right game plan.

Seems you have forgotten so soon that Chelsea is a big club and have been defending champions on numerous occasions and shouldn't adopt the inferiority mindset when playing against teams like Liverpool simply because they are the defending champion?

What's the purpose of preseason and trainings if lessons learned from previous encounter with your opponents are not being corrected?

Chelsea didn't lose today's game because of christensen's red card but we lost due to the game plan adopted for this game.

Its been proven time and again that the best form of defense is attack and when you attack an attack minded opponent, they retreat for you and not the other way round and most times, attack minded teams have the worst defense and Liverpools first game of the season proved that but Chelsea still failed to learn any lessons from Leeds but decided to lay on the mat and wait for Liverpool to come and violate them like they ridiculously did in today's game.
