Hi all, a friend's nissan pathfinder 2001/2002 model always throw out fuel when being refilled despite careful dispensing, has anyone experienced such? please any solution. |

You will need to check and ascertain your fuel guage is functioning properly. Malfunction of the fuel guage may cause 'vomit' of fuel from fuel tanks during dispensing. If you expirince spillage, have the mechanic check your fuel tank flow lines to ensure there is no leakage via any of the hoses trailing the tank, & that there is no corrossion down the line. There is also the possibility of fuel tank corrosion/rust at the tank base/or at certain level which leads to spill once fuel gets to that level. Hope this may help a bit. Cheers! |
