Most people thought Maikaba will handle an age grade team. Perhaps he preferred to stay with Plateau as they are in CAF CL
Yes because I doubt plateau would want to go through what they went through the last time he left on national assignment.

Gbenga Ogunbote is perfect for a national team job. For me he has been the best coach in Nigeria for the past 5 to 10 years.

Real Madrid should start saving from now o, Osimhen won't go for anything less than £150 million as a replacement for Benzema.

I think i agree with forgiveness...he was not very bad but a very normal midfielder...avoids any one one one battles...prefers to pass to d nearest man to free himself even if the person is covered....nothing special in his play...unless there is more to be seen...that dude cannot walk into our first eleven ....
Thanks God you also took notes of how he played. Was not fantastic yesterday though okay.

I was expecting him to play like Kante because that was what they made me believe but he's not near or close to him.

To be fair,I'll prefer Salisu as U23 coach. Apart from the Scandal he had,he has a good record with the home based team as a coach
Am not happy with the selection of the age grade coaches ranging from under 17- Under 23 there are many Nigeria ex internationals/ coaches that can be given those positions the likes of seyi olofinjina, finidi, kanu et al Salisu does not deserve to be called the U-23 coach he has paid his dues already he tried with Chan eagles though he ended this feat with corruption charges leveled against him but I prefer a fresh hand for the job. Probably finidi, seyi, ikeme, kanu should be consider for the job.

You can't buy experience. Salisu has shown that he's better at managing the home based team, just like Siasia. If we had Salisu instead of Imama, we will be in the Olympics by now. Salisu would have picked the bulk of his team at home and blended them together for the tourney, instead of relying on some overseas based player who will not have time to prepare well for the qualifiers.

How do you think Siasia qualified us for the last 2 Olympics he took us to, it was throug making the home based players the fulcrum of his team. That was how we discovered people like Etebo, Azubuike and co.

I won't want any coach that will rely on some overseas based players to qualify for Olympics, which could backfire if the club's of those players don't release them on time or even at all

Stephen Keshi discovered Etebo. Also Imama had failed at Enugu and el Kanemi before getting the job so the NFF deserve the blame.

We have good coaches in our league, why should Salisu be given another chance so soon? It would be an insult to all the other coaches.

The NFF keep talking about rohr's player selection process but they need to explain how the come about their coaches.

Although he is very decent at CB, Ndidi is a DM. A World Class Performer in that role. When played alongside an actual CM/Midfield linksman in Aribo we saw the might of Ndidi even against World Class Brazil. Brazil's attacking midfield moves broke down at the feet of Ndidi's intelligent game reading, defensive positioning and neat tackling and interceptions.

Ndidi alongside actual central midfield ballers like Aribo, K.Nwakali, Ejaria and more will blossom and be free to perform his DM duties effortlessly. But when played alongside another totally defensive minded midfield player like Etebo, or Mikel Agu, he is bound to struggle or just turn in average or a little above average performances b'cos those defensive players will share the defensive shine with Ndidi while contributing little or nothing to linking up play between midfield and attack.

Ndidi will continue as our First Choice CDM. So no thank you.

Kbs468:
Victor Osimhen Reveals His Dream Club And It's Not Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool Or Spurs

Lille striker Victor Osimhen has revealed his desire to play for European powerhouse Real Madrid in future.

The Nigeria international is reportedly being chased by Liverpool, Chelsea and Liverpool, and Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the 2015 U17 World Cup Golden Boot winner.

Osimhen earned a move to Lille last summer after scoring plenty of goals during a loan spell at Sporting Charleroi.

During his time in Belgium, the former Wolfsburg striker provided an insight into how he will decide the next step in his career.

Last season, when Osimhen was asked by Belgian broadcaster RTBF to name his dream club, he answered : "My dream club is Real Madrid. God willing, I will play for them one day .... because in football everything is possible".

In a interview with L'Equipe in November 2019, he reiterated his desire to move to Spain, saying ''I am a big fan of La Liga. It’s my dream to play there".

Lille President Gérard López has stated that he is not willing to sanction the sale of Osimhen in the January transfer window, and it remains to be seen if a monster bid from an interested club could tempt him to part company with his prized jewel.

The Super Eagles star has notched up 17 goals for club and country so far this season.
