You're trying so hard to impersonate me to give my guy a wrong impression. Lol! grin.

You have failed miserably.

Lol grin
The first thing we did was to check his profile and we saw he just registered 3 mins ago.
We just laughed and ignore the boy, this is his 1868 moniker on this forum! For real!!
Ignoring him is the best thing.
Quoting him gives him the impression that he is getting to sane members of this forum.
Him go cancel, him go tire! cheesy
Just ignore him and pity him as you do.
He is only here to cause nuisance and provocation on this forum with his canceling and porn images.
Waste of time and space...he is!

Okay thanks. Those guys were the real actors when I was young. I watch them sotey I know their names.
I tell you & they were in their mid-20s at the time.

Painful that some are late sha, Toun Oni, Francis Agu, the legend herself "Amaka Igwe".....May God rest their souls.

Multichoice should reboot Checkmate!!

But truth be told NTA had some decent script writers in the 80's and 90's. Wonder where they all are now. Probably gone over to the private sector.

NTA was able to retain them then because there was no competition in the TV sector then.

Wow! shocked

The Good ol' days.

Reminiscent time.........

Memories running down...........

We will always remember this line from Checkmate till the end of time,
(between a father at the balcony looking at her daughter swimming in the pool below......)

"Kofoworola Baker, are you having fun down there?

Yes Daddy, wanna join me?

No Princess,

Anything you say Daddy...........Love you!!
"

Awwwwww, memories are made of this!! kiss kiss kiss

Zebrudaya, Alias 4.30 just came to mind rn also.
Wow!
Simply wow!
Gone are those days,
When men were boys,
When women were girls,
And when virginity was...........sweet! cool

Eriggs, Long post just to impress people is a sign of mental depression. You better see a psychologist before you start developing suicidal tendencies.

Chief zebrudaya was my best, Okonkwo was the don.
Bassey in Bassey and company with their funny logo, one emoji like that full of teeth.

Samanjer, natty, Nosa died too soon.

In the Yoruba language genre too many

Fadeyi oloro afi shuke, Aworo, Abija wara bi ekun, orisabunmi, ogunjimi ajagajigioogun. These people acted films that shut down the whole of southwest, all streets and roads become deserted when the episodes are aired.

oloye Ajere and his polygamous home wahala, fali werepe, (this is way before the English version of Fuji house of commotion), jacobu, pappy Lolo, pappy luwe, baba aderupoko etc

Great men and women with great arts.

The question is then what changed?
They had programmes that you wouldn't want to miss at the time.

I remember how we use to run home by 6:30pm on Sundays to watch "Tales By Moonlight",
Even Sunday News by Frank Olize 9pm was even sweeter than the NTA of now or Sunday Rendezvous by 1pm on Sunday & the Livi Ajuonuma show by the late Ajuonuma.

I don tire....I wan rewind.....hate this thread; giving me bittersweet memories.

I suggest we create a page for real adults here.
We need to have our private discussions somewhere aside this one we are having with indomie generation.

This thread made me remember my primary and secondary schools mate.

My Lantana nursery and primary school then.
