The inventory of just this US carrier is more than the entire Nigerian arsenal.

There are over 30 modern fighter jets on that single carrier.

It takes Nigeria at least a decade to procure 5 decommissioned fighter jets.

Many reasons but its all about money. Unlike Nigeria they have a private energy sector run by money oriented entrepreneurs. They buy for cheap for their consumption and sell theirs at a good price. Another thing is the US can't produce the kind of crude oil they consume as they have the light, shale crude oil so they have to buy from Saudi, iraq, Canada and the bad boys at the kremlin.
