BascoVanVeli:The real brother should be the bigger brother, he should step aside for his younger brother if we go by that logic of yours. After all the big brother has had his fair share of fame and fortune from soccer even Fulfilling his dream of playing in his dream club was more than enough for him in order not to hinder the career path of his younger brother who is just setting out to limelight |

mostob:Add Fabinho,Jorginho,Rodri,etc.... Even Mikel managed just 1 goal and 11 assists in the premier league throughout his career as a DM for Chelsea,Ndidi has scored 6 and assisted 6 already! Some people keep saying he hasn't done well for the super eagles, but the stats say otherwise...the same good stats he churns out at club level is the same one he does for the national team... Maybe it is until he learns to dribble and nutmeg players that they will finally appreciate him.. |

nelszx:6-12 weeks actually... So it's possible he would be back before December.. But I wonder what's going on lately... This will be the second time he would suffer an injury that big since Rodgers joined.. The Ndidi we know isn't injru prone..abi it is the training method at Leicester that's causing all this ? |

M7even:U act like he is playing for Akwa United and he refused man u. There are so many other clubs in the world. He doesn't have to go to Manchester to become successful so your argument doesn't add up. He already turned down arsenal as a teenager so why is this so hard to believe ![]() |

Kbs468:Oh no!! So sad to hear that. I pray he doesn't end up needing surgery. Wilfred is a known fast healer so I hope that continues |

Alex Iwobi makes Carlo Ancelotti 'migraine' claim and defines Everton targets Alex Iwobi scored a fine goal as Everton won 5-2 at Fleetwood Town in the Carabao Cup third round By Dan Kay Live Content Editor 22:24, 23 SEP 2020 Alex Iwobi hailed Everton's strength in depth as he spoke of his desire to give Carlo Ancelotti a selection headache. The 24-year-old scored his first goal of the season as he completed 90 minutes at Fleetwood Town to help the Blues into the Carabao Cup fourth round with a 5-2 win. Iwobi's goal came early in the second half just moments after the home side got back into the game following an error by Jordan Pickford and he told Sky Sports of his hopes of featuring more regularly in all competitions this season. He said: "Our performance tonight showed the confidence and the quality we have. "We've got strength in depth and were able to rotate the team and get a performance today so it shows we have a good team for the season. "It was good experience for me to get 90 minutes under my belt as I'm trying to get fit for all competitions so it was good for the manager to give me the opportunity today. "It's always good to score but the main thing is the team goes through to the next round so I'm glad I was able to help. "Everyone wants to play so hopefully I can give the manager a migraine and get involved as much as I can. "Fleetwood changed their formation second half and were more attacking, they're a good team as they showed by getting two goals against us but we were able to withstand that and we pleased to be going to the next round. "We're targeting every competition every season, if you're in it you have to try and win it so hopefully we can beat West Ham as well." Everton will now face West Ham at home in the fourth round next week https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/everton-carlo-ancelotti-alex-iwobi-18987532

Danielnino00:I know where you are getting at and you have a legitimate argument based on the the performances he has put in but is that enough. Has he added quality to the team ? The answer is no. The fact remains that that old skool style of DM is phasing out and most coaches doesn't want to put up a DM who brings nothing more that jam bodi to the team. He Will not get bought by a decent team and you know this! After racking up the most tackles and blocks not a single offer was tabled not even from a wack team. |

IDENNAA:Just list the other world class defensive midfielders that add more than jam body football to their teams na.. Because no offer came for him doesn't change the fact that he is regarded as one of the best DM in the world at the moment.. |

feelme2020:First of all KC has very limited technical ability. Technicality speaking in his team among the forward players, who is he better than TECHNICALLY SPEAKING. Grey, Maddison, Perez, Vardy, Barnes, etc, to name a few. So if he is not among the top technical players in his club then how can you cast aspersions on the league. This is the same league that Mane, Salah, Firmino, Martial, Rashford, Greenwood, Pogba, De Bryna, Foden, Raheem, Mahrez, Gabriel have all had thier careers destroyed. The fact is that technically speaking there are over a 100 players in the EPL much better than KC. Let's be truthful KC is technically poor. You cannot give him what he has never had. |

forgiveness:It’s the same thing we are saying nah Spurs didn’t make an official bid for Osimehn maybe because he was afraid to compete with Kane or what ? Man united and spurs where never serious about signing victor Take this to the bank bro |

Subzero47:Serious injury ? The last time I checked ndidi hasn’t been out for 4 months before and he started more than 30 epl games last season so where is the serious injury coming from Please educate me what you describe as serious injury ? How many months will ndidi will be out for this time ? |

sheyishemba:Leicester uses Madisson, Yourin Telemans and other players as attacking midfielders Manchester United uses Bruno Fernandes Man city uses Kevin de Bruyne and other players as attacking midfielders Teams still use attacking midfielders. It just depends on the formation. Besides Firmino with some coaches will be used as an attacking midfielder. Even in Liverpool, he is a false 9 and not really an out and out striker. It just depends on the coach and formation. Attacking midfielders are still needed and valuable |

BascoVanVeli:With respect whether lie or claimed truth. It doesn't make any sense, consider what you are saying examine it and think about it. You are going to a top EPL club, and a striker who has been at the top of his game in the EPL for the past 7 season among the top scorers in the EPL most competitive league in the World. This a world class, proven, tested and acclaimed striker Harry Kane. Then you who have not achieved 1/10 of what Kane has achieved. And Victor who has not even completed 2 complete seasons of first team professional football in much lower league. Will say to Mourino before i come you must drop KANE. If the story is true, which I totally doubt. Don't you think that is simply crazy. |

Philosopher1979:And they all have outstanding technical ability and play a dual role attacker and playmaker. To do that you must be able to have a range of outstanding technical abilities. |

komekn:Iheanacho is TECHNICALLY PROFICIENT. I am not really his fan but i can say it in his defense. In a technical league like spain or italy he will thrive well. I can bet my life on it. But he needs to go somewhere where his style of play will be appreciated Watch him at youth level and in some games with Leicester and the super eagles. |

BascoVanVeli:Does that look like the comments of regret from a manager to you. But the way Managers will talk to hundreds of agents about multiliple players, that doesn't mean they want the player. If you want a player you put in a bid. My view is Victor knows he will struggle in Tottenham to get game time. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Nobody: 8:13am On Sep 24, 2020 |
Philosopher1979:My point remains Liverpool don't use an AMF at all. [The major function of AMF is to link the midfield with the attackers Can we now say because firmino drops deep he nows plays as an AMF most modern CF do drop deep ranging from Gabby, osihmen, and Tino. N.B tielemans is a CMF not AMF he is a Box to Box midfielder. |

Philosopher1979:Nacho and technicality are two parallel lines that must not meet... I guess you didnt watch yesterday match there is nothing technical about nacho..passing skills is average dribbling is poor off ball movement very poor ...biko what's nau your definition of technicality. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by komekn(m): 8:17am On Sep 24, 2020 |
Philosopher1979:Wow !!! Watch him a youth level. Actually I watched him at Manchester city academy. Even then he was simply an out and out striker with limited technical ability. He was not the best technically but at youth level his left gave him an edge. But fast forward to the Senior game and that is not enough, you need more. It may be good enough for the SE currently but that doesn't mean he is outstanding. Just means we have lower standards in the SE and lack true quality options upfront. |
