9jatriot:Is that all you could pick from all I said? The man is nor fit to be president And all his wrong policies are testament to it I get it You are his fanboy.... But do some deep thinking Will you confidently say that he has done a good job in his 5 years plus of his presidency. His report card comes to my desk every quarter And he gets F9 back to back As for you saying I'm using "gutter language " This is probably the most polite way I can even address the issue You have the right to call it whatever you like But many of us know that the man is failed president |

ultron12345: This is a *drops mic* type of writeup The 'off your mic' saga will have sparked up insane protests in a sane country, same goes for the Ganduje one .. the snake swallowing money one and countless others Nigeria can never be good, that is the plain truth 40 years from now, we will still be saying the same thing |

hustla:I still believe something can be done to af least salvage some of Nigeria But Nigerians need to first learn how to hold elected officials to account And know that the office they occupy is not a throne. Imagine Nigerians thinking it's okay for the president fo treat us with disdain by not addressing us periodically He is aloof, with impunity And the masses are not angry, or dont feel insulted ![]() |

DexterousOne:Just read this brilliant write up, you would know that gutter language is not necessary. 200 million people refuse to be productive despite various forms of incentives and it is not painful to you? Ahib mentioned earlier than head of a coperative society for rice farmers given loan by CBN goes and build a mansion for himself and claims 1500 farmers have run away, somehow, it is the CBN and president that tried to provide stimulus that are to blame, not the NIGERIANS involved in sharp practices? Anyway, take your time and write the writeup below. ultron12345: |

| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by 9jatriot(m): 6:46pm On Sep 23, 2020 |
Egg and chicken situation, which one comes first. The government is not robot, it is made of Nigerians who already have a mindset of not being productive. The people can and have a right to resist change whether or not it is for their good Nigsrdumb: |

DexterousOne:The thing is Poverty of the mind needs to be changed You'll see people wallowing in the rubbish called Federal schools with their toilets that look like the ones in Mogadishu claiming that 3rd class is 1st class in private schs Problem is that the private schs in Nigeria are just like the regular colleges abroad How do you want people who reason like the above to think they deserve better and demand for it? The problem is in the mind and the poverty mentality |

Funny enough i never expected any meanful thing from buhari and am surprise Nigerians are .....Nigeria human resource to run goverance, production and just anything is already very defective at 95 percent .so how on earth would i expect any meanful thing from such arrangements ......if u move jonathan as president of Switzerland he will perform wonder cos the human resource, right mindset ,progressive population and quality institution are all therr to aid success .....like wise if u bring trump and Boris to become Nigeria president with this defective population and criminalilty minded citizens he would fail he might not even perform up to pmb ....only Nigeria police and custom are enough to turn your brain upside down...before adding the like of ganduje |

What in practical terms can be done about this human resource? How can the mindset be changed in the next 10 years? I think every Nigerian is involved in asset stripping in one way or the other, but what can be done or do we just give up? ahiboilandgas: |

Asset stripping, everyoone believing that they must get their share of National cake by hook or crook. Really used too be a lot of killings of delivery guys not too long ago. Like you were saying yesterday, these are done by Nigerians, not Americans or Japanese. But the question still remains, what can we do to change this mindset? Any ideas? You usually have practical solutions to things. ahiboilandgas: |

ahiboilandgas:I think I agree with you in a way on this one though While GEJ and PMB are not serious human beings The populace are even more unserious ![]() They are the cause of most of our problems ![]() Greed and lusf for materialism Weeks ago Ote$ bought his girls Ferraris No problem But the comments I read in response to that from supposed youths broke my heart, because it was shameful That goes to show how deep we are in the mess |

9jatriot:I was also thinking about this last night.... I think the answer is Education.....the adults are almost beyond saving but the kids and younger generation can be saved. We have to reform education, its system, curriculum and staff, attention should be paid to moral grooming. In Japan the kids clean their schools themselves, sweep, mow the lawn, clear ice and wash their toilets themselves.....they are taught responsibility and dignity in Labour. |

The adults you are talking about (especially above 50) are the ones that grew up with the colonial masters, many of them still have a responsible streak in them, it is the present day youth that I fear the most, those ones want to earn without working or believe in rituals as a form of wealth creation rather than hardwork. Most of the adults we complain about still have the concept of hardwork pays Seriously, I wish I had a solutiion Tochex101: |
