Please... Some of you in here should try think first before dropping those hilarious comments. I know Komekn doesn't think at all. He is a robot. But the rest of us should please try to dey read our comments first before we click "submit". grin

A few say Iheanacho is not a technical player. That he lacks technical proficiency. That Iheanacho and technicality are parallels. Hahahahahahaha.... My conclusion is this: They obviously didn't watch Nacho last season and even if they claim to have watched.... Then they are suffering Amnesia induced by their master Komekn. This is why being a Kom-Minion is bad for your health. grin

Then the talk of Tammy is now worth more in the market b'cos of a few goals and assists against Barnsley in a league cup game. Hahahahahahahahahaha.... Kaaaiiiii... Please don't disgrace this thread. People from different parts of the country read comments here especially in ghost mode or guestmode and expect some highly intelligent analyses. Do not pollute sound analysis with Childish sentimental yammerings I pray thee. grin

And then another on using the EPL level to grade anyone playing in the EPL as better than anyone in Ligue 1. Abeg, Neymar is in Ligue 1. I will end it there. Lol

Please don't digress. Merci. grin

Neymar already proved himself in Laliga before he moved to Ligue 1 for money.

Ligue 1 still remains a low level league compared to EPL. It's a statement of fact.

It matters naa but not to the extent of saying Madison for instance is better than Payet, or that Ziyech is better than Neymar all b'cos they play in the EPL ranked 2 in Europe while Ligue 1 is ranked 5. Haba!

And good... Thanks goodness you didn't imply that coz I wonder. Lol

Well, to be honest, being a WC winner is a huge one. But it depends on the rating of the WC winner in question too. After all, Adil Rami also won the WC and he is now teammate with Awaziem in Boavista.

But in Mbappe's case, lad is already proven. Since 2016/2017 he has remained on a high level so we know he is no joker.

The WC winner "thing" may not help in only a few cases where the player is not really known or rated as Top class globally. Take James Rodriguez for instance. It was at the WC that people got to know him and Real Madrid went for him coz that is the biggest stage of football. But again, who was James before that? Where had he made his mark before his WC heroics? Unlike James, Mbappe was already a big time hero in France before Russia 2018.

Even Thierry Henry said it himself that although he won the WC, he really was not anything yet when he went to Arsenal. It was at Arsenal that Henry's legend was truly forged, and unleashed.

Iheanacho scores against lowly rated clubs in the league cup
Komekn: is means nothing, cup games are meaningless. He scored against a low team

Tammy scores against a lowly rated team in the league cup
Komekn: give him the balon d'or please, he is the best player in the world

Okay but it didn't change the fact he performed against top 6 EPL teams. Did it?
It depends on your understanding of performance, for me an outstanding performance should be based on physical, technical and
tactical performance of the player in a match so answer your question yourself.

Or Jose wanted him so much that the agent felt he could push his luck. Either way I agree with the koko of the matter which is not going to Tottenham. Victor would have had to walk on water to get playing time over Harry Kane. It would have been a bad decision

The tasks of a striker is to score goals. The rest will not be remembered if he doesn't because your stats will be used to judge you.

Kayode won Motm and made Laliga team of the week but according to our people, he flopped because he didn't score a single goal as a striker.

Based on this universal acceptable standard, Abraham performed against top 6 EPL teams because he scored against some. Gbam

Ligue 1 is a top 5 league just like the EPL is a top 5 league. Only difference is Ligue 1 is #5. EPL is #2. Ligue 1 has improved from over five years ago where their impact factor for goals was 1.5 but now it is 2.0 just like the EPL. That shows Ligue 1 has made some very good upgrades in quality. Yes, it is rated below the EPL but it is no low level league.

Also, Tiago Silva played in Serie A rated #4 (#3 at some point) in Europe and Ligue 1 rated #5. Both are below the EPL in rankings so would you say Silva is rubbish since he has not played in a higher league than the EPL??

Now I can really affirm you do have comprehension issue, I used a key word outstanding, am not disputing the fact he scored against top 6 EPL teams but was his performance outstanding?

I guess the bolded should be applied to you
You're one of the most respected sport analyst here but your politics is diminishing your sense of reasoning and argument coz lately most of claims are not backed up with facts
Why is It that when people have contrary views with you you tagged them as kom-menion but when you home boy was busy telling us how zuby and agu was better than Ndidi you were so mute that i was wondering if you're still in this thread or not ...had it been it was komekn that was telling us how Luke Amos was better than ndidi probably you would come fierce at him like an hungry lion

I made a very simple preposition I said nacho is not technically astute...I gave a definition of what it means to be technically astute ( the definition is not self birthed I went online to get the definition )

A technical player is a player has excellent ability on the ball, a good-looking player in possession, with the ability to buy themselves time and space due to their skill manipulating a football, working it in tight areas and improvising with their strong technique to solve problems in the game as they arise. They are players of strong touch, skill and imagination.( I'll like to show me instance where Nacho has exhibited one of these or probably know for one of these )

I moved on by giving instances where Guradiola had to drop him for better technical player like sterling
Nacho was dropped coz he wasnt technically proficient like sterling I gave instance where messi was played as a No.9 this shows Guardiola love for technical no. 9
If your nacho was that techically astute why would Guardiola sell him
I will implore you not to let prejudices blind your sense of reasoning.

Meanwhile Tega value must have hit the roof yesterday.

I watched a master class in forward play, by Tega when Chelsea beat Barnsley albeit lower level opposition from the Championship.

Nonetheless, for Tega to have scored one and TOTALLY UNSELFISHLY given three goal assists to new £70+ signing Kai Havertz.

It's a real lesson in technical ability unpredictability and savvy top notch skill, simply outstanding.

I heard Rohr replaced a DMF for a RB. sad

We now have Agu, Etebor, Tijani and Frank only in the team.

Are Tijani and Frank better than Ramon?

They have come with their usual selective selection of players into the national team.

How can this country move forward with selfish and prejudice people running the affairs of things?

truth is guy needs a break. playing almost every game week in week out for club and country. his body will surely react.

I don't think it has to do with the fact that he plays regularly... A lot of players play week in week out for their clubs with little or no injuries..

It could be due to the training methods being used by Rodgers.. Cus Ndidi hardly got injured for long before Rodgers joined..

your theory would be plausible if other leicester city players were also getting injured more than usual.

Although I think osimehn made the right decision by going to napoli due to the way he was pursued. But, its like you guys don't know Jose mourinho thinking anyone Is guaranteed a place if he doesn't perform. Remember that it was the same mourinho that tossed Casillas, Pete at real for younger players, the same mourinho that benched/ sold chelsea then best player (mata) immediately he arrived. Personally, mourinho might even bench kane for osimehn just to made a statement at that Club. But Overall, I think napoli wanted osimehn more than anyone else. BTW, you can't be scared of competition when you want to be the best
