Edourd Mendes is originally form Senegal by birth but he is now a french citizen living in France and playing football to earn a living..

But this is not with the case of a Nigerian footballer that is based in Nigeria or happens to ferry or fly himself to the United Kingdom.

The British makes it difficult for Nigerians to get their citizenship.

His being bad isn't overnight. He had two full seasons with two different coaches, yet his performance continue to nose dive. No serious club would tolerate that. He is overly rude on top of his woeful performances.

to be fair to Chelsea I think they have given Kepa more than enough chances to prove his worth. If at this stage he is not doing that then Chelsea have the right to seek alternatives in the market.

Chelsea are battling for trophies on all fronts and gambling on the goalkeeping position is not advisable at this stage. From the report its clear that some serious scouting work has already been carried out. It's left to be seen how Mendy performs.

With the way Chelsea is signing players, I don't think something good will come out of it. Just sign two quality players like Liverpool and move on but Lampard will not hear words.

it's still left to be seen as the season is so young, time will tell.
