Infact you will only make it worse by picking a stick up and facing the dog, as the dog would see that as a challenge and it would not end up well for you in a case like that except u have a gun.. The large breeds weigh from about 40/45 kg and above... Some as much as 80kg...you do be lucky not to be with baba God after the encounter... Hopefully the owner is around to save you. The list above can only work for small breeds... E.g lhasa apso,mongrel(local dog). .. Just run for your life and jump that fence... And if it is a pit bull, it only worse as they jump almost 6 times their height...

Had an encounter. Although na local dog ooo. Didn't know whether na craze dey worry dey dog as I was passing jejely for road, na so dey dog dey bark as I pass am small na hin wan start to near me. Looked around n saw better 2 by 2 wood I picked it up na so dey dog gentle immediately. But with pitbull don't try that it. Don't even wish to be in that scenario.

as i knock gate the snr sis open gate,we exchange pleasanteries i was laughing the next thing was a german shepherd jumping out of the gate my junior brother saw it fast and pratice fast and furious with his leg but i wasnt that lucky the dog jumped on me and used it weight to push me inside gutter i tried pushing it away but the weight was too much

i used all my power to stand up but the dog too get strength
