Onitsha Owerri road was as infamous as Lagos Ibadan expressway as at 1999. Today Lagos Ibadan expressway is still in the news while Onitsha Owerri disappeared from the news and is still intact 20 years on.

After the civil war , an air blockade was imposed on the east for more than 50 years , guess who lifted it? PDP. For the first time in my lifetime, an international flight landed and took off from Igbo soil. Big deal!

Second Niger bridge was a deal done by the PDP under Jonathan. Buhari has no choice just like he could not do anything about Abuja Kaduna rail. No amount of propaganda could convince us otherwise.

So many Federal government establishment like, CBN, Nafdac ,and many orders started springing up in the south East making the people feel part of Nigeria.

I don't want to talk about first of its kind appointments, given to Igbos under PDP.

Railway development in Nigeria is in stages and if PDP had continue we will not be discussing this today. They just started with Abuja Kaduna before they lost power. APC should continue with their evil agenda but cheap blackmail is really distasteful.

It is IBO and that is the real name so don't tell me to call it Igbo.

PDP gave other zones appointments and federal establishments/ airports too so I don't know when appointment is now a measure of performance.

My question is that: PDP have ruled for 16years, why did they not complete rail line in the South East upon all the loyalty the Ibos gave them?

The total rejection of APC by the south east in 2015 and 2019 really dealt psychological blow to a lot of people. Being treated like a leper by an entire region can be emotionally damaging.

Guess what? Another rejection is waiting for you tribal extremists come 2023. And by then the second Niger bridge and other federal projects started by PDP under Jonathan would have been completed to your absolute misery.

No amount of cheap blackmail will make APC acceptable to the voting public in the east. If you like extend the railway line to Mali and Libya, na una sabi. If the rest of Nigeria says it's okay with it, carry go.

What happened to the coastal railway connecting Lagos to niger delta region, terminating in calabar and a section linking benin to onitsha. I would have expected that work on the project is already ongoing by now. That to me is more economically viable.

But the rejection hurts you till this day, reason you won't stop talking about it.

The bad news is that the rest of the country have caught the rejection fever, reason you had to rig the 2019 election despite being incumbent.

In 2023 you will get the big red card. After that you can follow your railway line to Niger Republic and hopefully futajalon where you all came from.

Yes every gigantic project is first conceptualised on paper before we go to site. That is a very important stage. The team of Engineers and other professionals must complete their designs and all before work could start. APC met the second Niger bridge at a level where work was already ongoing, if you wanted Jonathan to complete it you would have done the needful in 2015. You buy market (second Niger bridge ), enjoy!


Thank you for agreeing that PDP was fair to all regions. That is why we love the party. They ensured fairness in distribution of projects and that is what the Igbos want in Nigeria. Fairness! But it seems that word give the west and the north stomach ulcers. You want to corner everything to your region, while others watch on without protest. PDP tried their best to unite this nation, but your party is in a race against time to destroy it.

I have answered this question in my other post, railway lines is in sections, and if PDP were still in power we will not be discussing this at the moment.
