I would have been more than happy to continue with Manu Garba. Even if they gave him both jobs it would still be better
Manu will still have the job. It's just to douse tension about "na only him make other people try na". But let's see them try and hope it's positive at least. It's not just about producing players at the cadet level this time it's more about winning it and we know just how far ladan Bosso can go.

Yes and this is especially according to sources like Nico Schira and a few other Italian sources. But I got wind of an insider info that explains the situation of things and why Ekong could be on the move or could be stalling due to the fact that moving from Serie A to The Championship is indeed a step down.

Read below...

The coach of Udinese doesn't rate Ekong enough saying he is tactically rigid and considers his main defensive trio to be Becao-Di Maio-Nuytinck. He considers the backup to this trio to be Samir. So the coach informed the owners he had no plans for Ekong in his team anymore and have told them to sell him. Now the owners, Pozzo family, don't really want to sell Ekong so they proposed a transfer to their sister club, Watford. Ekong was not happy with the move, and that is why the transfer is taking long. In the meantime, Nuytinck was injured, so this further complicated matters. Now, Nuytinck’ injury has not turned out to be serious, so the move might still happen.

Now this info is as at 4 days ago, I await further updates on this. It will be interesting to see if Ekong will play a part in this weekend’s game or to see if the move will eventually happen. Time will tell.

Let me add that personally, I want the Watford move to suffer death. I pray it should not happen. I don't care how close it is but time will tell indeed.
I pray it happens o..from ur report,d coach doesn't rate ekong..so y re u against d move to somewhere else where he might b valued..or u want him to suffer d same fate nacho is going thru..

I no want "throwback" analysis of aw ekong is good defensively while he's romancing d bench.. Just d way we analyse nachos too cool

you are very deep inside komekn ass so you obviously don't know when he throw dig in a subtle way. I'm sure the post I quoted did a good service in unraveling the true intent of his long post since u weren't smart enough to unlocked it. Learn how to unlock people statement even if they talk in a subtle way. If you are always going to a friend place to eat and a time come when he start making mention of not having enough money to buy food. He keep saying that everytime you come around for food. You should know he is asking you to stop coming for food in a subtle way. Use your HQ. Anyway, komekn finally say it loud and clear for you to understand so I wasn't Lieing afterall. He boldly declared "Tammy is better than Werner". Don't wanna derail further so avoid me.

according to owngoal nigeria deal hit a snag but might still go through. from their report it seems the udinese coach doesn't rate ekong hence the reason why they are trying to ship him off to watford. the report claims ekong is not too pleased to be going to watford. let's see how things pan out

If it's indeed true that the coach doesn't rate him and want him gone, then it's best he leaves..
But why should he allow the Pozzo family decide for him?
If he is sure of himself,he can hand in a transfer request and move elsewhere..

It is the move to Watford that I hope dies. That is what I specifically refer to. Ekong can insist on a move elsewhere and not to watford. He must not move within the Pozzo clubs system.

And cease with the silly and irrelevant reference to Nacho already. Is this about Nacho now?Nacho played and showed himself very solid in 2019/2020. And has earned a NT recall DESERVEDLY. And the 2020/21 only just began. So make we hear word abeg.

Afterall, you lost the bet you made with me on Ujah and Nacho in 2019/2020. Iheanacho went on to prove me right but Ujah went on to prove you wrong and me right again. grin

komekn should give same recommendation to the English FA before replicating same with nigeria.

You will say you are more patriotic than we that are here in nigeria but your actions speak other wise. Like seriously, how can a sane human and somebody who deem his self a patriot consider a player from league one as a prospect to the nigeria national team.

Is it that you dont think before you write or you just enjoy the attention ?

This is a hypocritical double-standard without any restraint
.

How many players have been talked about here as prospects playing in some of the most backwater league in Europe. But you found no issue with that.

First tier league does not automatically equate to high quality players.

In this regard we have players talked about playing in Latvia, Azerbaijan, Nordic leagues, etc.

However, you find no issue with that, but find issue with players in the English third tier.

My proposition has never changed, "Better a Lion in a lower league and club than an anonymous mouse in a top club and league"

I want to remind you that one of our most outstanding midfield players Joe Aribo came from league one. But you have prejudiced induced amnesia so you have not taken that into cognisance.

Current striking prospect Josh Maja came to prominence from league one. And if we look at the EPL, Dele Alli went from league one to Tottenham and England international in one move literally.

Calvert-Lewin left League one with Sheffield United he wasn't even outstanding but straight into the EPL and Everton, the rest is history.

But you in your incomprehension misguidedly think you are thinking rationally.

Ignorance is bliss.

We have invited some players to the SE from low level leagues , who have not been outstanding and if them why not players in League one.

Meanwhile l did not say they were outstanding or immediate candidates for SE call up. But you could not restrain yourself to make a far from helpful comment.

We have players from the Danish Super league a league that is on the same level as the Scottish league. Which is widely held to be on the same level of English football league One.

I will not accuse you of not thinking, because you don't have the knowledge or capacity to appreciate what I ppresent.

No be your fault LOL.

Very excellent replacement.

Now we see an upgrade in the challenge on October 9th.

But facing African Champs Algeria without Aribo and Ndidi is gonna be quite something. A big chance for some of the new guys. Whosoever covers himself in glory that day for the Super Eagles would have successfully worked their way into Rohr's mind for subsequent games.

See,just tell your innit boys to move to a bigger league if they want a national team call up... even if it's to Nordic countries..as long as it is top flight football!

I don't know how deep your knowledge of football is,but it appears to be limited since you keep comparing second and third division leagues with top flight leagues...

Chaaaaiiii.... So it would be Zaidu vs Mahrez? (That is if Rohr throws him in from the start). Nna eh... grin

That game is gonna be a cracker. I hope Rohr unleashes Both Ejuke and Chukwueze at once. Lol... But I think one of Simon Moses or Musa will start.

Osimhen against the Mandi-led defence.... Hehehehe... This is not Ighalo they faced at the Afcon. This is gonna be different.

Bounedjah against our defence. Midfield battle of Ismael Bennacer, Guediora and co vs Iwobi, Etebo and co. No Ndidi, No Aribo.

And this time, if Mahrez stands over a free kick, it won't be Akpeyi in goal again. This time it would be Maduka Okoye most likely. Honestly, Mahrez remains dangerous with those far-post curlers.

Interesting re-match we gonna see. cool

Exactly. Elsewhere outside the Pozzo Clubs is better. And to a topflight team too within the top 5 leagues. Not a downwards move to Watford. I really hope that Watford deal hits a volcano. Time will tell.
