I got a Redmi 9s for my sister 3 weeks ago. She's been enjoying the device very well. But there's an issue.

Since yesterday till now. Shes has not been able to make calls using the normal mouth piece. Unless she puts the phone on loudspeaker, she wouldn't be hearing anything.

Abeg what's the problem? Any solution?

How would Earpiece just stop working on it's own? it's really annoying angry

it didn't drop, no water touched it nothing!

BRAND new phone I just got 3 weeks ago for her angry

And I've already ordered MI 10 for myself! I hope I don't regret angry

I don't know about that of your sister but when this happened to me on my note 9s I hard restarted it; ie holding the power button for 10 to 15 seconds till the phone restarts

No luck here sad

Restarted more than 10 times now. Nothing still same issue.

It's just sad.

Force restart your phone by holding the power button for 15 secs and update your phone.

Launch CIT in the settings to check if the mic is working or broken.

i know you tap one of the lines in the about section but i don't know which one gets you to CIT

Edit: looked it up, it's the kernel number. Tap it three times

Mtn 3G lately has been crazy both for call and data.. it can actually make your phone to freeze will you attempt ito initiate or terminate a call.

Before I upgraded my sim to 4g some days ago I couldn't play seamless COD for more than a week so I think it's a network issue

I just got my Redmi not 9s. Please how do I share my vpn connection to my laptop without rooting this device. Note: I use vpn to do all my browsing and it's working fine on my phone but I want to share the internet to my laptop. Please help a brother
