okay since MPH isnt in the list what do you suggest @bligs and any other person with any idea
~~I am planing to go to Australia for masters and subsequently write their Medical Exams and practice as a GP
~~Im a medical Doctor with 4years post Housejob experience, being working mainly in private Hospitals. Did MMBS in Turkey but English was 100% the language of instruction, then NYSC and all

1.Please any Doctor practicing as a GP in Australia or doing MSc?
2. if yes, please which Masters do you recommend that would be a plus in my career and which school? (A city I can easily find job while studying)
3. Wanted to go for Public Health, but last I checked, MPH isnt in Australian list of skilled occupation, then Radiology but must of its MSc courses are online, Social work have less info on this dont know if md's can do it
5. Is IELTS required in all universities? An agent told me in Griffith for example a WAEC English grade of C5 or better is ok
4. what are your recommendations please. N.B Im Planing to sit for AMC exams during my MSc period
planning to commence studies in 2021
Thank you

Raymondeji:

You’re welcome. Let me know how you go
hello please I have some questions for you, the house and any one that has finished nursing or is on in Australia. My sister has a bsc in biochemistry and I’m looking for institutions that allow graduate entry for two years. ACU is the cheapest I’ve seen so far.
Did you go through the graduate entry program or normal bsc?
do you think nurses will need the extra points offered by schooling at regional areas? I know it’s on the sol but she will need to raise her second year fees and upkeep with no support from home so I’m bothered about ease of getting good jobs.
Did you have to raise funds your self and how did you cope with that and the hours your supposed to complete for simulations and clinical practice.
Can you help with an estimate of how much additional fees you had to pay per semester for other things aside tuition?
My sister will be going after nysc so can anyone help with ideas on how to show strong ties to the country. She’s not married and probably won’t be working by then.
Thanks a lot.

Go through this link and see if there is any Msc on SOL you can do with your MBBS.
https://www.mastersportal.com/study-options/271745116/human-medicine-australia.html
Not all schools required IELTS as some just need letter from your institution stating that all courses are taught in English.
Not sure whether you can get admitted for Social work with MBBS.

There's different between Diploma in Nursing, Graduate Entry and Bsc in Nursing, you won't know this till your accreditation with ANMAC that's why they are classified as registered nurse, enrol nurse, clinical nurse etc.

Extra points is essential as the higher your points the higher your chances of ITA irrespective of occupation, though most state are sponsoring Nursing as it is regarded as essential occupation.

Raising of school fees depends on individual and location, despite the hustling and bustling nature of Melbourne and Sydney there are some people that are still struggling in these cities while some are finding it easy in Tasmania.

Estimated fees for her program will be stated on her offer letter.

PS. I haven't meet any one that got grant from naija to study graduate entry in Nursing here that doesn't mean that there's not, those that i have encountered actually change from their initial course upon arriving.

Hi house
Please I need clarification on EOI application.

Is it better I indicate that I have interest in an advertised project or not, to get positive feedback

For scholarships intentions I can’t find scholarship for tuition waiver just living allowance. I am hoping for scholarships for tuition waiver.

I am applying for phd program at utas

For EOI you need to either fill a form or send a mail that includes your cv and results to the Project PI

This is in addition to what bligs wrote.
I know someone that used the graduate entry approach but she was a nurse from Nigeria and did excellently in her academics.
The fees won't be less than 30k per annum for most universities.
Apaty from uniforms and equipment which shouldn't be upto $500 there isn't any substantial spending except if you like buying textbooks like no tomorrow grin
If she can associate herself with number 1. God ( those here can testify to this) cheesy and real information givers she should be okay.
Simulations aren't time consuming. However she should prepare herself for placements ( I hate those) depending on what level you are. There's a large possibility that she won't be able to work. Some schools put placements during the holidays undecided Nevertheless it is possible to raise her school fees but she would need to be prudent in spending and also have enough to cover the first year when coming in.
If she ticks all boxes, she won't need the extra points by schooling in regional areas but if she can get those, goooooddd cos Nurses are in demand.

Thank you so much.... we intend to give her enough money for everything for the first year just that there will be no support from home for the rest. For the placements does immigration count them as fulfilling the 20hours/ week for work? Please what institution did your friend attend? Is it possible to get your friend’s contact? I hope you won’t mind if I send you a mail. Thanks a lot

If you're talking about PR; placement hours doesn't count. She will need to be certified and work as a nurse whether in a hospital or aged care setting for her hours to count. My friend attended Deakin University and unfortunately I won't be able to give out her contact. Sorry about that

thank you very much. No I didn’t mean pr. I meant the working hours for international students. Does the placement hours have any impact on the 40 hours fortnightly given to intl students? No problem about the contact. Thanks for the institution

Placement is part of the education and it doesn't have an impact whatsoever on the hours given to students for work.

Have you paid your initial fee? If yes, you should contact the school if its more than a week. Covid-19 has not effect on eCOE but on visa grant and international travel.

Good morning everyone.
I'm having some challenges with payment of fees.
The University only does online payments.
And to pay from Nigerian banks, you need to put in an account number when filling the Form A.
I contacted the agent and they advised using Western Union. However the banks I have visited are saying they only receive western union, they don't send.
Can someone please advise.
Thanks

Call the school. They often have alternatives, many Nigerian students study in deakin and they must have paid somehow.

I used form A and it was seamless.

Thank you,
how long ago did you pay? which account number did you fill in the the Form A? I ask because the bank insists that it must be the school account, and not a third-party account. I understand from the bank that these are very recent policy changes.

Check your offer letter, all the necessary info you need regarding the payment of your fees will be stated there (school account details and your payment ID) , present the letter to your financial institution and they will used it to bid forex for you through Form A with CBN.
PS: The only avenue through which you can get a fair rate/CBN rate is through Form A.

The bolded is wrong.

What you need to pay your fees in addition to the form A and the hand written letter of instruction telling your bank to debit the tution fee money out of your account is to generate a payment instruction from western union global business( it's quite easy to do that) and print it out.

Follow the instructions in your offer letter, the offer letter should have a clickable link that will take you directly to the western union website.

Dollar is scarce but you should get debited within 3wks after initiating the form A request.

The rate is btw 379-381.6 per usd has at last month.

Thank you. I did exactly what you said. UBA and First Bank said there's a new directive from CBN that makes that no longer possible.

Print out your admission letter.

Also, it depends on the state and location of the branch of a bank cause most of this bank staffs don't know shit about the different bank operations besides the normal day to day transactions.

Go back there or use Zenith bank and tell the customer care or anyone inside the bank that you want to speak with the Trade officer.

Good day house, I'm new here and I would like to know how lucrative are agricultural and environmental related courses are in Australia with the sole aim of getting a PR and what is the percentage of an agent securing admission for someone into an Australian university.
Thanks in advance.
