It's taking too long please let them call us before they will hear from those big men they shared slot to please

Despite they don't have much people like NNPC recruitment still to call people now is an issue

As in eh...they are taking for ever to shortlist ...the delay will only give politicians the opportunity to hijack the process and tolaade1960 more reasons to scream disclaimer.

That's why in Nigeria recruitment is never fair forget this merit they are here shouting. Still if influencial people should send letter do you think the ES will say that they do not have slot may God help us all

Please let's be patient and stop increasing the thread pages with comments that are not beneficial to us in any way.

If you know the ES well, you would understand some of the issues that have been said here again and again. Just yesterday, in their Abuja office, the ES trashed 9 highly rated recommendation letters. They have a file for them in the office.

@Senior56, only if you understand deeply how things are done in government, you would appreciate the fact that it's purely courtesies for such matters. It's not by muscle at all. Even Tinubu's Ministerial Nominee wasn't accepted in 2015. For 4 years he didn't have any Minister in FEC and the heavens didn't fall.

If the matter be as you think, NCDMB would have more than 20,000 staff by now.

@Senior56, don't think that those persons that have the opportunity of being recommended for employment to such agencies are not qualified. To the contrary, most of them are super qualified. Some had their academic qualifications from the best schools in the world. And as a public institution, they're bound by law to receive (not necessarily honour) such correspondences (Recommendation Letters). They have the liberty to choose when and how to recruit, and to reject hardcopy of your CV.

They will get to us very soon and the process will go very well. Thank you.

You guys should calm down they’re on it we’ll be contacted is just a matter of time, I remember when DPR did their advert it took them sometime to call for exams so also this very one hence it’s oil and gas job

Sorry am not arguing with you but there are people in this country you can't trash their letters because they will not even request you to give them slot they will command you to offer their candidate job so those now carrying letters from senators or house of rep you should know that if the Senator is not supervising the committee on petroleum you can get your letter been used by weed takers to roll their weed. But people like buhari's cabal, infact as a DG or a chief officer in an organization you are to respect yourself and don't joke with them i just pray the ES should continue to minimize them so we unconnected ones can have the opportunity

Connection is of different level there is 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G and other Directors connection

Like me i tried on getting a recommendation from a minister but didn't get it because the secretary to the minister is very wicked

If the ES is truly clean why is it that in the their Headquarter in Bayelsa have gone there have seen what is happening. if you want to submit CV it has to be with recommendation else you are not allowed to go in y not qualified individuals. my brother open your eyes clearly this is Nigeria

There's a coded consideration for that. More than 95% of recommendation letters for employment to NCDMB are trashed. They have a special file for them.

There's no need going back and forth on the matter of recommendation. Thank you.

Based on all the things that have been flying round in federal government agencies and presently the DSS SAGA that is presently going on, it will be in your best interest to be open minded in this recruitment so that in case it goes south (which I don't pray for), it will be easy to move on.


All I know is that the ES you guys vouch for, he can't keep thrashing the recommendation letters because there are some people that their name is 'connection itself' like those in the cabals, at least he must bow to them or some of them.

The best we can do is to hope and pray that we the common man will get a fair share because I have learnt enough from DPR and NNPC recruitment.

Don't he surprised some people that are here shouting the recruitment is 100% merit based and the ES has integrity (which I am not doubting because I don't know anything or anybody), most of them are the ones pulling strings underneath.


We saw it in DPR and NNPC, they will only show themselves during the last days when they finally get APL or towards the end when little or nothing can be done TO SPOIL their chances anymore.

Are you telling me that a recommendation letter from Presidency, Senate president and DSP,speaker of reps plus committee chairman and members on local content,top ministers like minister of works, transport, petroleum,Niger Delta, top emirs and to kings with be trashed

So Minister of petroleum will bring list now and he will say he won't accept them, even if na half of them, he will accept as a thank you for helping me.


If there is something I have learnt, you don't bite the hands that fed you in government or politics, because it will take nothing to open your can of worms that you think people don't know.
