Igbere TV reports that Ziggima singer Bright Chimezie has clocked 60 on Nigeria’s 60th independence anniversary.

The ‘Because of English’ singer said in a Facebook post on Thursday that he feels blessed.

“Hello Good people of the world, I am 60 years old today!” the excited Bright wrote.

“I feel blessed and I’m thankful to God, the maker of heaven and earth. I’m also grateful to you all. The Ziggima engine still revs.”

He also shared photos of his family.

Bright’s album Respect Africa brought him to limelight as he used his songs to beam the light on societal problems, Igbere TV reports.

Many of his fans fell in love with his dance steps.
