Coldie:Lack of information is your problem, when expatriates come in with their children do you think they school them from abroad. All the white & Asian students in Lagos, Abuja & PH are Nigerians abi? Hatred would not allow some of you to reason well.. It is well with Nigerians |

jibbish:Shut up everything is not about sectionalism. Its hard for a foreigner to apply for study visa in Nigeria to come and study in a Nigerian uni. Expatriates can come with their family they call it family reunion visa its different from study visa. Foolishness have made all of u think that anytime someone speaks his opinion its about hate |

Enudapan:Go to offshore then you'll see that many needs Nigeria visa. Since the Covid19 do you know how many expatriates that has gone jobless as they couldn't get visa to return to nija? But it is good news for us because it has pave way for local employment in the marine industry. |

kutashi:Don't mind them. I have to say that I have never met a group of Black Africans that bad mouth, disparage and tear down their country like Nigerians. It is so disgusting. No country on earth is perfect and I understand that Nigeria has it's own share of problems. However, the way Nigerians come on Nairaland, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites to bad mouth and tear down the only country most of them have says a lot about Nigerians. I don't see Africans from even poorer African countries than Nigeria tearing down their countries the way Nigerians do but this is what Nigerians do day in, day out. After they are done tearing down their own country, they now expect western nations and nations from around the world to grant them visa. Why would any sane country grant you visa? So that you can go to that country and mess it up like you messed up your own country? Nigerians don't realize that when you bad mouth and disparage your country consistently and so vocally, you are pretty much bad mouthing yourself in the process as well since you are a citizen of Nigeria. Houses and trees don't make a country. People do. Later now, when Nigerians get treated like scum by other nations both within and outside Africa, these same Nigerians will begin to cry online and offline asking the Nigerian Federal Government to come to their rescue like was the case in Ghana, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and wherever else. Suddenly, they now want the government of the country they call "shithole" and other disparaging things to come and rescue them. Even foreigners have noticed this character by many Nigerians. I can't tell you how many times I have read comments by Americans, Europeans etc. on social media and on American forums who said they expressed interest in visiting Nigeria and Nigerians discouraged them and said all manners of negative things about Nigeria. Some Nigerians are just dumb I tell you. Nigerians are the main reason other African nationals have the audacity to come to YOUR platform Nairaland and reign insults on your country Nigeria. After all, when you use your left hand to point to your father's house, what do you expect? |

Kudos to the Federal Government of Nigeria. Reciprocity is the way to go. It is how it is done in other countries. Other countries put their citizens first and it is about time Nigeria does the same. Anyone who doesn't like it can go kick rocks! |

Oracleforce:Precisely! A lot of Nigerians just yap for yapping sake. Most of them have no idea on what's really going on. While many Nigerians stay disparaging their country, foreigners are flocking in and making money in Nigeria and sending that money back to Europe, china, Lebanon, America and God knows where else. |

emkz:Well said! Many Nigerians don't realize the number of foreigners from Europe and Asia that are flocking into Nigeria on a daily basis. Many foreign airlines flying into Nigeria from Europe and the likes are filled with non-African people except of course in December when some Nigerians travel home for Christmas. |

planetx:Well said! Most of those Nigerians commenting rubbish on this thread don't know what is going on. They are unemployed and frustrated and don't have the slightest clue of what goes on at our international airports in Nigeria and the number of white and Asian foreigners flocking into Nigeria on a daily basis and not in a hurry to leave. These non-African foreigners know there is money to be made in Nigeria. The only people who don't know are some Nigerians themselves. |
