This is over 4million Naira which could be used by the club for development and groom more players to sell abroad.

The players playing for this club could still be owed some months salaries

Is it because they heard it is in hard currency and they suddenly found their voice?
10000euros is less than 8million naira, meanwhile billions are being misappropriated yearly, these fools turn blind eye.
Abegi make we hear word.

If Nigerian clubs can just do the right thimg.

Take developmental football seriously.
They would make so much money that they wont need govt again.

The market is there.

MFM FC sold stephen odey to Zurich FC for over €300,000.

That is serious money that can be pooled back into the club for more investments.

The Nigerian academy that sold chukwueze to villareal is still dining on his transfer money.

They would get a tidy sum whenever he transfers to a bigger club.
And I learnt that villareal has taken another young Nigerian player from there.

The Ajax model.

Why should the money be with the ministry of sport, are they the beneficiary or the club has no identity(account) of its own like every business enterprise?
Or the club remitted the money to the sport ministry?
Reason why our league isn't developing, why should govt be the managers of football club

Very hard to find a honest person in Nigeria when it comes to money. No matter who becomes the governor, president or any politician, it will be same story. We have a faulty value system centred on money which is so bad.

Everyone believes that money is the only way to happiness. Our value system is terrible.

I told someone that an average nigerian can sell his community in exchange for a house in london.

Sincerely, even if u make corruption a death penalty, we will still corrupt the system.

The way out is for another country to manage Nigeria. Simple.

You are right, IBB killed whatever was left of our values when he tacitly approved 419 in Nigeria with key beneficiaries being the likes of Ade Bendel, Fred Chijundu Ajudua and others in the late 1980’s and here we are today

The philosophy of “wealth without work” is now our national mantra - Nollywood glorifies it through her movies and when quality of work is required for money to be earned, they portray it as wickedness. When a landlord threatens to throw out a lazy tenant who is owing 6 months rent because he can’t get his ass of the bed and go roll wheelbarrow in the market or work as laborer to raise money to pay his rents - the landlord is called evil - this is why we are not progressing, the dignity of work as a societal value has been severely abused

The churches are not helping either- they have amplified this sorry state by preaching the miracle of easy wealth and prosperity

The traditional institutions are so compromised that they give chieftaincy titles to individuals with questionable characters and no legitimate source of income

To end corruption - we must abolish religious and traditional institutions!!!
