Thanks. Since the verification is done electronically, I thought they would have gotten the email in matter of days.

OliveWalls:
You will need to fill a contact form on their website. If WES indicated that your transcript has been sent for verification, then it most probably has been sent. I advice you wait another two weeks before sending another email though. This stage took about six weeks for me before any update was made on my WES account.

I know that PCC from any state of Nigeria has to be sent to Lagos (alagbon) to be sign and stamp by a police officer. Therefore, I will say that your PCC from Abuja or any state will be acceptable.
daddydoublejay:
Happy sunday guys, please does anyone know if PCC from abuja is accepted for EE. Their website has only alagbon address but I learnt PCC can be gotten from abuja as well.

NIFES:
Good evening all.

A big thank you to everybody that contributes their experiences and ideas on the platform. God bless you all.

I need an insight on what to do about my job experiences please;

Combined, I have over 12 years job experience but on different roles and 2 different companies.

The first 3 years was as a Quality Control Officer in a Distilleries. The next seven years was on a role as a sales admin officer in another FMCG company, while the last 2 years and current role is in the same department and the same Company but as a Business Analyst.

I want to apply on NOC 4162 but my concern is that I am less than 3 years on my current role as a Business Analyst which matches the NOC I intend to use.

My questions is;
I hope this won't be contradictory as I am less than 2 years on the job role that matches the NOC but if added together I am 9 years plus in the same department but slightly different job descriptions?

Anybody with insights should kindly enlighten me.

Thank you.

Just thought to mention that there is no requirement for you to use your most recent occupation. If your CRS is at a comfortable level as per recent draws and you are not choosing a particular NOC for PNP reasons, then you may want to consider picking the one for which you have 7 years experience (you only need 3 of these 7 years for ref letter purposes). That way, you only need to get one reference letter and you need only worry about matching 1 NOC rather than 2.

........unless there is no problem getting refs for a combination of 2 NOCs since it is from the same department of the same organization & you also don't mind matching 2 NOCs.

This is a straight forward case. All you need is 3 year work experience and you have a wealth of 12 years experience. What you have to do is to use the 2 years experience of your current position and augment it with any of your previous position. Note You are free to use more than one NOC provided one of your work experience is continuous for one year. In case of two different position in the same company, I suggest you get two reference letters I.e one for each NOC.

Thank you very much. I appreciate.

My current CRS score is not close to the ones coming up in the recent draws so I am opting for PNP.

I think I should use the combination of the 2 NOCs if it is not going to pose any challenge during my application review. Getting reference letters from the company for the 2 won't be an issue.

Thank you very much. I appreciate.

if you use 8777 as ielts.8 in listening scores will be 469. If you chose the maximum ielts scores for all bands that's 481

you need to evaluate AAT not ican. Ican has no equivalency in Canada. So its bsc plus aat

Hello all,
Please I have two work experience; My old place place of work and then current place of work.
For my old place I have 4 years experience and my current place just 2 years
i intend to base my application with my old place of work because my job description there matches a particular Noc,just yesterday i thought about using my current place of work because i have payslip and proof of salary lodgments (Bank statement),I cant provide that for my former place as we were paid in cash.
when I based my application on my current place of work even with just 2 years experience, my crs did not drop. please do you advise i continue in that manne

Its quite funny that people stress on what is not required, for your case you dont have any problem using your old work experience, all you need is just let your ref. letter state that you were paid in cash. if you use your current work experience (2yrs), you cant get the maximum point for work experience which is three years. No one asked us to provide pay slip or offer letter, these docs might be requested by a visa officer for clarity purpose... a lot have submitted just ref letter without any other thing and PPR was given. keep your application simple the best way you can. @bold i'd advice you to use the 4yrs experience... keep it simple and easy

Hi all,
I received ITA on the 16th of September and got my reference letter on September 20th also
I am yet to submit my application as I'm still gathering document which I know will be ready in a new week

I recently got a job offer in a new firm which means I will resign before I submit my profile.

My reference letter addresses me as a current employee but I won't be anymore at the point of submission.

They HR insist I won't be getting another reference letter because it was a huge struggle before I got the initial one in IRCC format.

I will be provided with letter of resignation once I resign.

Should I add it to my documents when submitting or submit then notify them shortly that I no longer work there with the resignation confirmation from my company.?

Got this from someone on my group..

"Just got off from the call with IRCC, she said that if you have a proof that you gave biometrics in last 10 years, just upload it via webform and your profile will be updated. (Even if your profile shows that Biomterics is still pending or whatever)"

So maybe don't bother with going for biometrics, just upload proof.

donhuko:
My AOR was August 10th, and yes I got a biometrics instruction letter. I’ll proceed with the biometrics.

I included my degree certificate (masters degree from University of Toronto) and DLI number during the application. I’m very surprised that they’re asking for ECA, and I have just 7 days to submit the ECA, which is practically impossible.

Add National Diploma ( 2certificates) if you don have Quickly RUN BCS

Also add spouse if you are married.

My own score is revolving around 479 with spouse and 8777

@Mamaroon pls what do you advise?
PA has more than 10yrs work experience in the same NOC and listed all while filling work experience. Do we remove the past 7yrs as they are from different places or wait till post ITA when they can be listed under history? There is more than 3yrs experience at present place of work and can get reference letter from there. Thanks

Mamaroon:

No docs required for personal history as far as I know

Is this thing reflecting on the biometrics fee? I hope they don't charge the 85CAD or at least refund it.

You probably didn't need to update your profile with the 10 years work experience since 3 years max is sufficient. The extra years do not increase your CRS neither do they reduce it.....so...your choice.

Post ITA - move work experience outside the 3yrs required to personal history.

If you resign before AOR, your personal history would clearly state the end date of the job you got ref letter for as well as the start date of your new job. This clearly shows the issuer of the ref letter as a former employer. I don't see the need to add a resignation letter. Your choice though.

The tense used in the ref letter doesn't seem like a problem to me....you WERE their employee WHEN it was written.
