Bro, North are the best in politics, they're the masters of the game, they've field workers who are good in the game not keyboard warriors. North doesn't need this cheap tactic to rig election. We don't always need violence to win election.
Masses doesn't count much when it comes to governance and real political game, they count mostly on election days. Let me tell u one practical example that North can capitalise to continue excelling in the game as usual.
North can decide stay in power for long through tactical alliance with either SE or SW. North is always relevance. Every southern candidate must rush to the whole North while North need only one zone in the south to thrive. We don't set conspiracy theories or share ethno-religious propaganda to get attention, that one is too bad.

May God punish money embezzlers. If the national id card scheme had been done, this excessive, ridiculous and senseless spending would have been curbed.
If at the end of the useless censors, we still don't have a national ID card, then, this country is a waste.

Hopefully we won't find farm animals being counted and hopefully states with larger population will at least contribute more than 5 percent to the National IGR - bunch of roaming herdsmen
