Good morning house. Are there any dieticians here? Please how did you evaluate your professional license to get points for masters? I'm asking for my sister.

You can only evaluate masters not the licence .. because she would still write exams when she gets there.

I didn't do the traditional Bachelors, then Masters. I did diploma courses, advanced diploma ( NVQ level 5), then a level 7 diploma (post-graduate). I am currently doing my masters.......................
If I start the EE process now without my masters, my CRS is 471. Îf I wait till I've got my masters and I am 36, my CRS is 473.
What would you advise me?
By the way my NOC will be either 1241 or 1411 with over the requisite number of years of experience. Which of the 2 might favour me more?
Thanks in advance.

#MyOpinionNotIRCC's

2020 should be a lesson to us that no one can predict what 2021 will bring. Carpe Diem.

I won't get into the maths of your CRS, you'll work it out, I'm sure. I will say that you seem to have the advantage of 30 extra CRS points because of the TCF results (IRCC website seems to indicate it's when you update French as a 2nd language but applicants who chose it as a 1st with English as 2nd, still got the bonus points i.e. 30 points for being bilingual....you'll find out for sure when you complete your EE profile).

Why not begin your ECA to see how your diplomas will be evaluated (hopefully one of the diplomas was 3 yrs long)? Even if the ECA doesn't come out as "2 or more", at least you gave it a shot and can redo the ECA when you complete your Masters.

Redo your IELTS while you are at it....every point counts!

Regarding the NOC, it doesn't matter which you pick so long each meets the IRCC requirements and you can obtain a ref letter for either. This assumes your CRS is high enough for you not to need the PNP.

Check what was indicated on your ECA. Check how it compares to the IRCC link below.

Hello all, I just want to share my experience with idp mod. I wrote my test on 15th August and result came out on 28th August, with the following scores... L 8 R 8 W 7 S 6.5.... I applied for EOR the following day which is 29th August. Eor is supposed to take 3 to 21days but mine didn't come out until 30th Sept, that's 32days after my application. To my surprise, I got my trf today and I got a letter from Australia inside dated 4th September indicating the change in my writing to 7.5 and speaking to 7.0..... my theory is this, Australia idp sent my eor after 5 days of application but Nigeria idp didn't notify me until 26days later. Coincidentally, my eor response came just 3 hours after I made payment for my wife's test. Is this deliberate or coincidental? Many people have paid for another test because of such delays...

I actually got refund form from idp Nigeria, my grouse is that why would idp Nigeria have eor feedback since 4th September and not communicate it to me until 30th Sept. Couple with the fact that the eor came few hours after making another payment to their account, luckily the payment was for my wife

When the age is an odd number, the person loses 6 points, not 5.
Are you for real? Did you lose 6 points or it's stated on their website? I am surprised though because I have always thought you lose 5 points for every age after 30.

Hello Everyone. Please I have a question. I have a colleague that’s on 471. She missed out on ITA at the last draw due to tie-breaker. She also has an NOI from Ontario that’s due for submission in about 2 days. Please help analyze the scenarios below:

1) is it advisable to submit incomplete documents to hold down the Ontario NOI while she waits to see what the next draw would be on Wednesday

2) Would Ontario send an ADR to submit the outstanding document or it’d be outright rejection

3) Is it wise to spend 500k on Ontario with 471 when the last general draw was 471

4) is the best option to go full throttle for the Ontario and neglect whatever happens

Please help!!!

you do no state medical conditions. The approved hospitals subject you to tests. If your medical conditions will cost below 20k cad a year in treatments then you are fine. If not the person is deemed inadmissible.

Thanks for responding. They study nutrition and dietetics as undergrad. They now do something they call an Internship (it's academic work) for one year. If you pass you're given certification to practice as a dietician, without which you cannot practice as a dietician. Their profession is a licensed one. I don't know the body , I'll find out.
When you simulate your crs score, the question for level of education has the option for 'masters or license to practice in a licensed profession' to get the points for masters.
I've heard that lawyers without masters prefer to evaluate their 5yr undergrad + 1yr law school with IQAS instead of WES because IQAS will evaluate all to give them points for masters.
But the confusion is that law school will give transcript but this dietician body will not give transcript. She's trying to get the highest possible score she can get.
Or a better put question may be whether IQAS can evaluate a certificate without transcript if that makes any sense. Please people don't get tired of me. Guide me accordingly abeg.

Receiving Updates:
Passed medicals 23rd January & got biometrics request few days after.

COVID-19 happened & the estimated completion date of my application (July, 3rd 2020) got expended.

I became inpatient & started calling IRCC every other day. In August, I ordered GCMS notes & everything came as passed.

Yesterday, I received a message in my mail to check my profile. Na so I see PPR letter and “Review of Additional Documents changed to Not Applicable”. GCMS notes showed how Case Analyst ransacked Facebook, LinkedIn & other platforms to confirm work experience and other checks.

Thank you everyone & I’ll drop landing gist accordingly. Na soft landing e go be as I still dey yankee trying not to run mad due to the insane grad study work.

Lastly, I’m open to helping anyone in anyway I can.

#Blessings.

Congratulations!!

Please how have you been calling them? I’ve not been receiving updates on my application and the web forms sent multiple times have received the general response that it’s being worked on. embarassed
