Absolutely! Life is double sided.

I don't support the work from home for life thing although I'm fine with it and the pandemic

I mean one needs the work environment sometimes plus staying at home would only make employees lazy and more vunerable to hackers unlike in their office most likely with a high grade system preventing hacking

Although working in the office could be tiring and stressful I think it's important to ones well-being... gossips.. friendships and so on won't exist anymore

People saying that's what they need would miss working in the office sooner or later

The work style of a programmer is different from that of a factory worker or an Executive.

A programmer needs only his laptop and sometimes a tablet to get the job done and they prefer to do this in a comfy, stress-free environment, be it home or office.

Also a programmer won't miss working at the office if it's a toxic one or the environment isn't dev-friendly.
