One of the Big Four studio push would do his accounts some good.

Big Studios only use marketable actors. Nick Cage is no longer marketable. Hollywood big wigs can't afford to take a chance on a jaded actor.

Hmm, True.

But movies I'm thinking of them making a bet on is B-list low budget movies. That way the risk is reduced. Not Big Budget or Blockbuster Event movies.

Nick Cage days as an A list anything is over. He's jaded. If I were him, I'd go back to television. It's a place where aging and out of favor movie stars go to either retire or rediscover themselves.

There is nothing like low risk in showbiz. Where money is involved, there is always a risk. Which is why it's cheaper and more financially rewarding to hire a young up-and-comer than a washed-up/has-been actor.
