By this action, the policemen are simply saying all the protests means nothing to them. No reforms can change these guys. Those statements of reforms are just to decieve the public to calm down but since the public didn't buy it, they've returned to show themselves as they are.

U are right. D fact is, when protesters aren't out in large numbers, it's easy for d police to prey on them. It's like d proverb about d strength of a single broom stick compared to d strength of a bunch. If u have btw 50-100k people on d street or d numbers we see during political campaign rallies, how many police go fit pursue?

Hmmm.... just a handful of soft protesters and the Police use teargas to disperse the fleeing protesters. IMO... in Nigeria.... protests are useful to build courage in the masses.....but not to bring about change in policy/actions. Change will only come about by force... fighting fire with fire... the courage is building... and the fight back has begun..... armed services death rate is competing with COVID-19.

I don't support End SARS but Reform SARS, if they end SARS some of the bad ones among them might be posted to different units and might still be carrying out their evil plans all in the name of another unit. Also criminals might still be on the rise.
I believe SARS should be reformed and people be re employed into the system without any political or social influence (hardly possible) but based on mental fitness and performance on the job.
SARS is supposed to be what SWAT is in USA, they don't come out every time but on special duty. you can't see SWAT police dressing anyhow all in the name of disguise.
SARS are meant to earn respect with the way they carry out their operations effectively not to force fear into people.

SARS can NEVER be like SWAT. NEVER!
