How can our defenders be launching long balls to strikers without going through the midfield?

What kind of quack way of play is that?

No be small work Ndidi and Etebo dey do for Nigerian midfield

So sad that this team can't spring three complete passes in most cases and the marking of our team is bad

I hope the friendly match lessons are taken home.

This team reminds me of the Odegabmi, Christian Chukuww, Adokie eagles. They find it hard to complete three passes.

I only see a good defence line, no midfield and poor front line.

I like how defensive the team is sha grin
but the midfield, attack and wingers are not working together grin no coordination at all... they struggle for balls and lead it till they loose it grin no strategic passes

I see people commending the defence. With almost half of the line-up being defenders what do you expect?

Meanwhile without Ighalo,Osimhen,Ndidi,Etebo what else is super about the eagles? Stop blaming Rhor he managed what's available against the African champions. 1 NIL is a decent loss.

Re: Nigeria Vs Algeria: International Friendly (0 - 1) On 9th October 2020 by BluntTheApostle(m): 9:26pm On Oct 09, 2020
One good quality of the Algerian team is their ability to close mark whenever they are off the ball. They keep the pressure whenever they don't have possession of the ball.

Unlike our boys who are playing their usual, European gentleman football.
