I have sent my sis to to get it since yesterday but she couldn't ,I had to go out myself yet it is not available in all the pharmacy in my locality, I had to send my lil sis to go to ikorodu she has gone since morning but still couldn't get the cream.
pls is there anyone that have experienced a slight opening at the incision sight, pls what did you use and is there any other alternative to he kito kit cream as it is not available and my hospital is very far from where I stay else I would have gone back to the hospital.

We went for antenatal this week and na so so tori dem dey yarn us. Wanted to fix the car seat only to realize this is not the type I needed at this time. Will have to return it back to where I was given.

We complained about contractions that we experience at night and the OB told us at this time, it is normal particularly between midnight and 4am as that is the active time of the uterus.

He advised us on when to go to the hospital and particularly, my wife would need to get an antibiotic IV at the time of delivery because she tested positive for the Group B streps test.

He concluded that if by 40th week no show, they would do a membrane sweep and if after 41 weeks she doesn't go into labor, then they will discuss the next options with us. At this time, I am counting down in terms of maximum hours left for the OBGYN to tell us the next thing.

Well, going by my own experience with cs, the sides healed slower than every other part of the scar. I had the burning sensational pain too. I didn't apply anything, just kept dabbing with very little spirit. I tried as much as possible to reduce pressure on the sides. You know there's more pressure at the ends of the cs scar when you try to get up or sit up fast. Mine healed on its own but it took a longer time. I don't know if this explains your question.

BS! BS!! BS!!!
Long post alert. Grab a bucket of popcorn.

I had my court wedding in August and decided to start trying for a baby after the traditional wedding in October. Fast forward to December when we traveled for Christmas celebration I was unable to participate in the activities due to tiredness, I then told my DH that I needed to do a pregnancy test... It came out positive. I've never seen my DH so happy grin grin

January came and on the 2nd,i started having cramps, I went to the hospital and my pregnancy was confirmed with blood test. The doctor also assured me that the cramps was normal in early pregnancy. By the time I got back home from the hospital, I started spotting and by the next day the cramps had increased with bleeding this time. I went back to the hospital and requested for a scan. To cut the long story short, I lost the pregnancy cry cry
I cried all through the night but thank God for my DH and sweet sister-in-law.
Prior to the pregnancy, I've been taking my folic acid religiously and the still continued through the miscarriage.
My Doctor also advised that we start trying again as soon as I feel up to it since we both don't have any complications.

By February, my DH asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I told him a two thick lines on my PT strip grin and we prayed about it with faith.
Few days to my birthday, I became sick, I did the home PT and it came out negative sad I was discouraged but I didn't loose hope. The sickness persisted with very high fever at night but I refused go to the hospital and didn't take any medication too.

My birthday passed, I was still sick, cough and catarrh won't let me be(thank God it wasn't covid time grin), DH encouraged me to test again but because I didn't want the negative result to weigh me down, I kept on postponing and gave excuses.
One morning, I decided to summon courage to test since I have been having same symptoms as I did with the first pregnancy and viola... It came out positive. I was happy about it but was scared because of the previous miscarriage.

First trimester was tough for me, I threw up all through, (on the street, at work) couldn't eat all the things I loved. At around week 9 of my pregnancy, I was admitted in the hospital but that didn't stop my sickness (the lockdown really favored me sha).

Second trimester was the best, though I get irritated easily and didn't like some people getting close to me grin grin I was very active even at work.

Then came the almighty third trimester and we were still alright, I didn't miss work aside my antenatal days. My office is on the 3rd floor and toilet is on the 4th floor and 2nd floor but as I couldn't but urinate na, I took it in good faith and also used it as an avenue to exercise.
At 34 weeks, I went for scan and baby weighed 2.3kg then I told myself that this baby must not weigh more than 3kg at birth then I became selective with food.
At 36, it was dawned on me that I was pregnant, stairs climbing became tedious, my walking steps were like that of a duck grin grin with pelvic pain.
At 37 weeks, I started feeling cramps and back pain but was still going to work.
Then on the 18th of September the pain was intense and I was advised to go to the hospital. I went as advised and was examined but the doctor said the cervix was still closed and was so I was given paracetamol huh huh
The next day, I still went to work but I was very late and immediately I entered, my boss knew something was wrong with me and told me to go home. I applied for my maternity leave before leaving work that day.
Starting from that night, my DH got me loads of pineapples and I started taking it with the ewedu juice (that ewedu juice disgusts me) but I didn't stop taking it morning and night.
I took evening walks and danced before bedtime too.

Fast forward to 25th of September which happens to be my normal antenatal day, I went to the hospital and saw the doctor and told him how I was feeling, he examined me and said I was 2cm dilated... My heart skipped, he said I will be admitted.

I was admitted and on the next VE, I saw lots of brownish discharge on the nurse's glove and she said I was still 2cm dilated but I should tell my husband to bring my bag. That's how I slept at the hospital with 2cm oh.

The next day which was the deal day came, the nurses came to call me for VE but was scared of going because of the discomfort. When I eventually went around 10am, I was 4cm dilated and the doctor told nurse they'll start the drip in an hour.
Around 10:15, doctor changed his mind and told me he wanted to break my water. Then the nurse brought that wicked drip Chai... My vision got blurred immediately sad sad
Labour pain no be beans oh, at some point I begged them to let me talk to my husband so that he can sign for CS grin grin
I can't begin to explain all that happened and all I said while in labour.
At around 2:30, I was asked to push when I have the urge to, so I did and on the third push my prince was out and all the pain was gone, I felt relieved and plancenta followed.
I was stitched and cleaned up and my baby was brought to me. He weighed 3.2kg.

truly no two pregnancies are the same...apologies to my fellow September mamas that I didn't come to announce my BA, she came on the 1st of October through Elective CS...since then I have been in pains, it was never like this with my first child..

what am really suffering now is severe nipple pain, cracked nipple, bleeding nipple...

Mamas I beg in the name of God, who has a solution for me,because once my baby is awake am scared to breast feed.

Above all I thank God for seeing me through this CS, it can only be Him.

Ikorodu general hospital is the best for me. I used it for my first and hoping to use it again.

First timers are required to go very early on Thursday for Orientation where they will be told everything they need to know about antenatal and delivery.
After which they'll do the HIV and other test . Furthermore, they'll know about the 5 in 1 test, payment to be made & others.
Happy bumping to your wife.
Thank you

Above all I thank God for seeing me through this CS, it can only be Him.
Congratulations Mama.

I did experience nipple crack and in my two births, but no bleeding.

Very terrible pain, Pele
Did nothing- was advised to continue breastfeeding that baby's sucking will heal it. It healed on its own.

Sorry Ma'am. It will heal.

we are both in the same both mama, what I did was to express my breast manually into a feeding bottle, I didn't breast him for two days so as to allow that nipples to heal a bit, so on the third &4thday I fed him with the left breast which has healed a bit but not completely so as to allow the right nipple heal completely so on the fifth day which is today I switch to the right breast which has healed
I cannot come and die bikonu..

BS! BS!!

Childbirth is really divine, may God bless all mothers and plenty baby dust to all TTC mothers. May you carry your bundle of joy soon in Jesus' name. To all our belleful mothers, there shall be no loss in Jesus' name.

Today is our first wedding anniversary and we have our baby as a gift.

It exceeds the base parameters. May God visit you with BFP before the year runs out. Try to track ovulation and work with it and pray.

sorry dear. I had similar experience during my first pregnancy. I initially rubbed breast milk on the cracks. When it wasn't healing fast enough. I applied vaseline, cleaned it off when baby was ready to suck and reapplied after each breastfeeding. Also ensure that the whole n.ipple and part of the a.reola enters the baby's mouth. It will help prevent further cracks and reduce the pains at the moment

Congratulations teamie. I have been awaiting your birth alert. For the nipple pain, I experienced it soon after I gave birth as I did with my first but not to the point of bleeding though. I applied lansinoh nipple cream but can't say I got any relief. As with my first, I kept putting my baby to breast. With time, the pain will gradually reduce and the nipple eventually heal. Pele it will pass soon enough. Other mamas will chook mouth with what worked for them. Congratulations once again
