1. The rumour is false, mate. It started on Twitter, and ended on Twitter.

2. It's not how showbiz works mate. In showbiz, content promotion/marketing is integral. Trust me, mate, if Netflix hire Margot Robbie for a Sex Education role, they'd ensure everyone from Antarctica to Iceland knows it. In no world would a poker player have a royal flush on their hands, and elect to play a dead man's hand instead.

3. Margot Robbie has never talked about the show, or demonstrated any interest. She has so many projects lined up that's it's ridiculous to even associate her with a teen web series, Her future projects → The Suicide Squad, Bad Monkeys, Pirates of the Caribbean reboot where she will take on a leading role, and a yet to be titled drama co-starring Christian Bale, will keep her busy from 2020 to 2023. Even if Netflix approach her, and they haven't, I'm pretty sure she will decline on the grounds of plain common sense →scheduling conflict, and lack of interest.
