I’ve done my research. Regardless of the region where the TV was purchased, it’s impossible to see a QLED TV without ARC support.

The TV was clearly worked on that’s why you’re trying to console me with Optical cable and Bluetooth.

Without that ARC and the fact that the back panel was changed with evidence from the attached images below, this TV have lost major resale value.

With the first picture, you can see the TV was supposed to have 4 HDMI ports

With the 2nd and 3rd picture, you can see only 3 HDMI ports.

The 4th picture is what the TV was supposed to look like.


We’re asking for the TV to be returned in it’s original state or FULL REFUND

Since you Acunon are the legal owner of this thread, this message would be tendered as legal evidence.

This should not be this way, few of the Tvs been sold here have the Same HDMI setup, I don't manufacture them I only buy in bulk and sell. If there is any issue I will have to relate to them for a possible solution. As regards the Tv I will advise you bring it down so as to resolve this. Thanks

So you’re still insisting that 2019/2020 QLED TV comes without HDMI ARC, which is a standard feature for most Samsung LEDs from 2013.

Or maybe Samsung manufacturers got drunk that day and forgot to include the 4th HDMI for all the QLEDs you purchased. Anybody that sees the back panel can tell it was worked on.

The fact that you don’t want to admit that it’s modified, is the reason why I’m treating this as a criminal case.

All QLED/OLED TVs from Samsung comes with 4 ports. HDMI ARC is a STANDARD FEATURE.

It’s like selling an iPhone 11 Pro Max with 2 camera lens, instead of 3.

I usually solve disputes offline as I’ve worked with a lot of retailers from Nairaland. I had to bring it here as his responses are not encouraging plus declining/ignoring calls.

This is heart-breaking because I’ve purchase and referred a lot of people to him. Combined, we’ve purchased goods worth millions with no issues until one. Even with all the bad reviews, I ignored because of my personal experience with him.

This is an expensive unit, so I decided to handle it myself instead of just referring him. Now he sold a clearly modified TV to my high-end client.

They insist on taking legal action as the TV isn’t cheap, and purchased for company presentations

He has a criminal tendency. Same thing he did to me when he waybilled an old and spoilt AC unit to me. At a time, he stopped taking my calls and replying chats when I hinted about returning it, claiming network issues and all that..
If your client is pressing charges, they should do. I've not forgiven him.

Even a rookie TV salesman can tell the difference between 3 and 4 HDMI ports or a modified back panel.

I’ve been fair enough to give options of Repair, Replace or Refund today, but I don’t think he’s taking this case seriously enough.

Due to the the urgent need of the TV for business purposes (which was stated clearly throughout our conversation), we might end up purchasing from a different retailer anytime from tomorrow.

By then, the only option would be to refund the complete amount of #260k.

Despite he goes around selling scraps as TVs, his customer relationship is nothing to write home about. Zero!!!

Always ask for a video and full pictures of what you’re buying, especially the back view of the tv you intend buying from him. It is important you do, only if I did, am 100% sure I wouldn’t be here writing against his business ethics. Lies upon lies!!!!

He said you should return it and get a refund or he fix the issue. What more do you want. Even Jumia and Konga ship faulty stuffs to customers. That is why they let you fill return form.
