My brother, you're right.
Give the other two 45minutes, let's access them too.
simple !

Exactly! If Rohr didn't give them chance it simply means he is blocked them from proving themselves.

You this guy, be careful. Na when you start dey watch football? Which one be he found his form in mini matches? Oh na you make the formation? I am defitely pulling back from most of my statements. We'll have to wait for the match today to see something. cheesy
smartsmith0907:

Bro I feel you personally ill advise rohr to play all the GKs but playing him doesn't change the fact he might not been invited in November the odds are low
Just I said alampasu and yakubu has been fantastic no caps and I told y'all how okoye fumbled and concede 4 but right now the table has turned in the subsequent mini match okoye found his form and started the Algeria match thats football
And concerning okoye's transfer Brazil means little or nothing to his transfer the move is merited coz he has a very good agent and close ties between the fortuna and sparta thats all.
Yakubu might be a second half substitute he might start today rohr is very unpredictable I made the formation based on what I know and heard thats all. I don't have a favorite among all these players am just an analyst

I am afraid, you may have to do better than this. Provide your source. The acquisition of a Nigerian passport doesn't necessarily mean commitment. it could mean the individual wanted more options. It's in human nature to want that.
He's actually right.

Nigeria miss Owomoyela

Ogunjobi said the NFA will help the player secure his passport

German-born Patrick Owomoyela will miss Nigeria's game against South Africa on 17 November.

The Arminia Bielefeld player, who holds German nationality through his mother, said he is yet to secure a Nigerian passport.

"I won't make the match because the German government has given me conditions before they will allow me to have both citizenships," the player was quoted as saying on Friday.

"I have to get a certificate that proves that I am eligible to have Nigerian citizenship, as a result of the relationship with my father."

Taiwo Ogunjobi, Secretary-General of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) confirmed the player's withdrawal.

Ogunjobi said the NFA will assist him with securing the passport, which will confirm his eligibility to play for the country and make him available for future matches.

You and coaches should stop deceiving yourselves.

Are Okoye and Okiki the first choice goalkeeper in their respective clubs?

When Alampasu was the second choice goalkeeper in the Portuguese league, he was not preferred neither was he called because they claimed he was not playing but fast forward, Okoye who is a second choice goalkeeper is preferred to a goalkeeper who is starting for his club.

I have said before that selection of players into the national team is based on sentiment. Double standard is all I see.

all your argument is sentimental
alampasu has been in team since pre WC during all the WCQ he was with the team so what's the impetus from this I guess it was sentimental too ba??

Even when first keeper dey concede 4 goals, dem no gree put am inside. grin. The only thing that's for sure is that Maduka started a significant portion of Dusseldorf II's matches, which competes as as a 3rd-tier German league, before his move to Eredivisie.

Maduka Okoye last played in fourth tier of German football. He is yet to play any game in the Eredivisie.

Did you see me say anything bad against the players after the Algeria game?

We want to see the two goalkeepers because we heard they performed better than Okoye in training.

Why is he trying to block us from assessing them?

Perhaps, Rohr has made up his mind on Rohr hence wouldn't want these players to play else they perform well and it becomes hard to drop Okoye.

May sentiment not kill you people. When you become the Super eagles coach, you can choose the entire first 11 from your village, once you carry us go afcon and world cup, we dey alright grin

lemme give you an indepth analysis of these players

1. Uzoho ( APOEL) plays in Cyprus which is rated 16 by UEFA league rating:- uzoho came to the limelight in 2017 after becoming the youngest foreign Goalkeeper in LA liga and he consistent over the years from his move from deportivo to Elche to anorthosis and now APOEL he has been playing continuously have never heard Uzoho been out for months without playing unless he is injured

2. Okoye (Sparta Rotterdam) plays in Netherlands which is rated 10 according to UEFA league ranking ...okoye is the most undermined player here and damn underrated who ever says Okoye was invited coz he was commenting of NFF post that person is a nonentity and he is BALNTANT liars coz Okoye earned his invitation and was merited
lemme give his synopsis He started in Bayern Leverkusen and moved to Fortuna in 2017 he came to the limelight whe he SINGLE HANDEDLY save his team from relegation( oberliga ) making 5 appearances with 4 clean sheet and conceding just a goal who ever follow regionaliga will tell you how difficult it is to concede a goal in 4 matches vonsidering the scoring spree in the league this was when rohr discovered him In the 2018/2019 season, he became the club regular goalkeeper. He finished the season with 15 appearances, conceding 25 goals and keeping 3 clean sheets. this stat is very impressive considering his age and exposure at that time now he is in Sparta Rotterdam pushing for a No.1 spot

3. okiki LASK playing in Austria Ranked 12 according to UEFA league ranking :- I have a kinda close link with him coz have been following him since age 8 during his days in Asko donau linz
he came to the limelight in 2017 when he broke into LASK junior he went on 46 game spree and went to wels having 8games on his belt now he is in LASK first team playing a UEFA Competition and he will soon be their first choice considering his performance in his last match

now compare these players with alampasu who has played a total sum of 6 games since December 30 2015 till date international match included
https://www.footballcritic.com/dele-alampasu/profile/65554
and played for ventspils which is currently 36 according to UEFA league ranking so my broda the trio has been consistent over the years and are playing right now in a better league than alampasu I understand you're a fan but his time will surely come

Forget all this long story jefe... Okoye isn't in anyway way rated higher than Alampasu and Yakubu.
The other two should be given a fair amount of game time to prove that they have what it takes to challenge for the goalkeeping spot too..
It makes no sense for Okoye to start all 2 games..
45 minutes each for Alampasu and Yakubu today will be fair..

Did it change the fact that you gave wrong information here?

You are the sentimental one here.

Some people lied to us Alampasu was dropped because he was not featuring in the Portuguese league and was advised to do so before he can be called.

To my surprise, a German four tier league player was called and now that he is just a second choice goalkeeper in his club as the case was with Alampasu then, they want to use he plays at the top club to discredit a player even when they set the standard by themselves.

The situation was not different from that of Alampasu and Uzoho. Alampasu was the second choice goalkeeper in a Portuguese league while Uzoho was playing in the Spanish third tier league then but Alampasu was dropped because he was not having game time while Uzoho was having game time.

Game time was emphasized but what changed suddenly?

Fast forward. Game time is no longer important but being a second choice goalkeeper in a top league is now the criterion.

What double standard!?

bro don't mind them. In fact all the Npfl GKs should have been invited and given 5mins each to prove themselves since Nigeria's matches have become talent hunt. They were the ones arguing about taking friendlies seriously before, now it's to test all the keepers in one match.

I have been following the thread since the last match, true true i tire for we fans. I missed the match but have watched it like 3 times since then just to marry what i read in the thread to the actual. The final game analysis showed that the SE had more possession than the Carthage Eagles tho it all translated to nothing. The Algerians showed that they needed the win more than the SE. The SE was poor because the MF bar Iwobi and the wings were poor on that day. I noticed a lot of times Iwobi has to fall to the periphery of the 18yrds to pick a pass. His colleagues in that MF were a kinda lerthagic or too slow to open up to receive passes, The defence will not have other option than to hoof the ball ( Ekong) or carry the ball like Balogun was doing.
The wing play was terrible because chukwueze and Kalu were doing what they cant try in their club sides. Dribbling when a simple 1-2 pass will just do the magic. Severally they ran into cul de sac trying to dribble.
The team should just do the simple things. quick interchange of passes. That's all, not the showmanship and the rest. I think Iheanacho and Iwobi combo will bring some difference if they are played together. These 2 don't caress balls. Na so i see am
