“Wike We Dey Come O” — Rivers Youths Defy Wike, Begin #EndSARS Protest (Video) Despite the ban on #EndSARS protest in Rivers State, youths on Tuesday converged opposite Pleasure Park in Port Harcourt for the march against police brutality, Igbere TV reports. Governor Nyesom Wike had placed a ban on the protest, saying its aim of having the notorious police unit the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) scrapped had already been achieved. The protesters, however, lamented that youths cannot continue to be killed by the police. Some of the placards they held read “EndSARS”, “We are tired of dying”, and “Protest is our right”.
