Okay...

This is becoming irksome. Respect and regard is reciprocal. The government has decided to dissolve SARS (The protest and clamour of which I partook) and peace is not too much to be asked
for.

Let them not make them take drastic measures.
Ah!

Does it mean citizens cant protest anymore about bad governance?

Sorry, Kogites. Protest is over already. Be sure to be current about news regarding live events next time, please

Which protest is over?

Nairalanders should be the one to atune to change.

There are still Protests in Abuja, Lagos, Warri as i am speaking .

And for those claiming SARs has been disbanded. That's just mere talk. Not a single action has been taken to show empathy and understanding from those ruling so the Protest has to continue.

Has the IGP remorsefully apologized for all the deaths and harassment caused?

Has he visited families of slain protesters?

Has he at any point brought any SARS official or erring police officer to book?

Have all Protesters been released unconditionally?

Those are questions that speaks volume about "seeing action" and not just words.

I don't think so. Anytime there's a protest in lagos, they say it's tinubu behind it. The end SARS is being echoed both in the apc and pdp states nationwide. Nobody is hijacking anyone. Set yourself free. Our politicians are our worst enemies so revolution has started. End sars is just the beginning of it. Nobody knows when this would end. Go and study the cause of protest in Syria and other Arab countries. One of them was caused by a small girl. Whenever there's going to be a revolution, it could take different dimensions. End sars started like a joke and now, it's a nationwide thing, except the region who's happy being backward who are protesting in the opposite direction. If you're not tired of this modern day slavery, we are. A minister would sit on the money that belongs to the whole nation and share it with only her people and you're cool with that? Look at those on the fed govt foreign scholarship list, they're mainly northerners of fulani extraction. If you're not tired of the perceived inequalities where monkey dey work and baboon dey chop, we are .

Yesterday, I watched on channels tv during which Sanwo-Olu was saying he would give 200m naira as relief to the victims of sars brutality and people replied in one voice that they dont want his money and the governor said, you mean you don't want money and they all yelled yeees. E don happen. Enough is enough. Youths have suddenly realised they own Nigeria and not the old fools. They've suddenly realised their generation is being eroded. They rejected sanwoolu's money because they knew thats the way politicians have been buying their conscience in the past. Not anymore!

Oh! Finally, they have reached Kogi state?

You see what APC and in fact, the whole political class has caused over the years by not creating jobs.

Now,tell me, they ain't all students. Some of them are graduates who are jobless.

I was able to hear some gossips yesterday at a beer parlor where I went to relax and one was a graduate and a school-father who brought all his school-sons to join the protest. After the protest, they all went for relaxation and I was all hears at what they were saying.

Who would believe this will go thus far as it has gone now? Guys are jobless,,,inflation on the rise without corresponding increased in income.

I took 20k to the market to buy stuffs and to my amazement, I could only buy bag of semo, dozen of spagg, 5 lit of red oil, beans, rice ,garri and other few things...money is gone.

Now,a plate of peppersoup fish(head) is #800 while the price of beer remains fixed. Why would the average farmer increase the price of yam, tomato, red oil, beans and other stuffs when ² cost of production remains the same?

Some things need to be regulated by the govt else these businessmen and women will keep inflating the price to the detriment of the final consumers.

Let the govt go for price control or what do we have them for? Aren't their economist in the govt who know what to do? Or are they just going to school without practicing what they have studied in school?

Protest will keep on going till the govt does what is right. SWAT isn't the problem of the youths, they are just hiding under that mantra to protest.

Check my gig via my link to place your order, thanks.
The cost of production is not thesame. Hiring labourers to make ridges now 40 per one . Cost of tp from d farm to the market. Fertiliser on the high.

Yea, it can start from somewhere.. That is how it all started in many countries. We are glad our youths are now taking issues that concern them seriously. Our politicians have taken us for a ride for too long!

The price increase started from somewhere and that's why the govt must come in to regulate it.

Ah!

Modified:I believe in oneness of voice and and goal and the resistance to oppression. Infact I'm an full-blown advocate of such.

If we want a better government, let's clamour for it under a new tag. Let's go all out and request for it!

Now my own is that when the government starts
revolting, no one would be on the side of the protesters because SARS has been disbanded. Even the international world and those figures who stood for us will begin to see us as rebellious and easily frown.

U speak of the international world as if they're fools like some gullible Nigerians are. U think they're not observing if SARS has been truly scrapped?? They also know about the dishonesty of African leaders which is the same thing making people keep up the protests. No one trusts the Nigerian government anymore with their fake promises, not even the international bodies. Our leaders have lied to us enough.

The painful thing is most of these lousy youths are not bothered about their being out of school. Everyone want to trend with this rubbish. Buhari know what to do to adequately handle those disturbing the peace of Nigeria in all states

For your information most guys there are not students but jobless youths. Or are u surprised that the number of jobless youths can be this enormous?? Yes that's what this nation has become. And if u must know, most of the students are at home and not able to protest because their parents and guardians wouldn't let them to. If ASUU mistakenly call of strike that's when you'll see the main protest because those students at home will go back to school, there by being free from their parents claws to protest. The main protest is yet to come.
