Different kinds of people protesting.

1. PDP members and supporters.

2. Relatives of those President Buhari probe and eventually jailed.

3. Those who are paid by opposition party.

4. Those who see it as an opportunity to wake their dead music career.

5. Those who are being pressurized by others to join.

6. Yahoo boys and girls.

7. Cultists.

8. Those who see it as an opportunity to see or meet their favorite celebrities physically.

9. Those who chase clout.

10. Those who see it as an opportunity to steal people's phone.

11. Those who go there to toast ladies.

He was suspended because of the fear of spreading coronavirus at his office, not because he went for the necessary protest .

But the moderator that moved/pushed this to the Frontpage decided to be mischievous by the title of the thread.
And this shouldn't be, knowing how wide spread Nairaland goes all over the world.

Company suspend staff that went to protest because of fear of coronavirus infection at the office .... would have been more apt.

Who wants to die by coronavirus infection now that it is going down all over the world?
I won't be surprised if he deleted this post anyways.
I have made my point.

I think this was misread.

It's just out of the fear of the viral pandemic, not necessarily because of his involvement in the protest. However, that was too extreme. He should have been told to self isolate for some weeks.

He was not suspended primarily because of the Rally, rather he went against his company rules and pay for it.

Shikinah
see what you are saying, so he doesn't have a life of his own, what if he had gone to attend one occasion in another state? Dey are useless for using such excuse

I have made my point.

Please, don't try to support what is obvious. He was suspended based on his participation in the protest.

They claimed they work from home or go to office on important issues and company's vehicle will pick up staff. Tell me if all those who work from home, work in isolation of all family members or they also provided each staff accommodation and food stuffs without any contact with other people in their area or vicinity. Tell me if they placed cctv in the said accommodation also to monitor other staff if they do not come in contact with other people in the society.

The reason is silly and wrong to have been used for suspending him.

Besides, why suspend him till further notice when he can go on quarantine and have himself tested before his resumption at the office?

Any company or establishment that is hiding from public or that doesn't want the public to notice what they do, is a dubious company.
