Good day house, I need your advise, I have been processing my pnp with ontario for over a month and yesterday I got an ITA due to the last draw. Do I need to contact OINP to stop processing my application so that I can move forward with the ITA requirements.
Thank you for your answers.

#YourChoice

If you have not yet been nominated by OINP then you may proceed with accepting the ITA & contact OINP to stop processing.....you may or may not get your 1,500USD back depending on whether or not they have started processing your application. Worst case is that you lose the the money and go ahead with Federal ITA without the OINP nomination..

I do not see a point in proceeding with OINP (refund or not) because there is no guarantee that you will be nominated ( #MyView) and if you are, you'd be bound/limited to that province.

An ITA in hand is worth a Future ITA & OINP Nomination in the bush.

Dear Seniors ,

I have an ongoing application and my POF for a family of 4 currently sits at 6,689,161. We submitted in July and at the time we had very little overage compared to the required minimum. The rates are so high now and this has an impact on our submitted POF. Please my questions are:

1. Is the POF rate locked after submission? If not
2. Can we deposit funds into it to bring it to the required minimum? And if we do,
3. Do we have to explain why there is a lump sum inflow?

Please help answer and if this has been asked and answered before I beg you to help paste the link so I can check it out biko.

Thanks again all and God bless you all.

Advice has been given........you can quickly book medicals at IOM using the link PweetyTomi provided. GeologistMajor has also explained that IELTS is locked post AOR NOT post ITA. See here for the IRCC reference (also on page 1 under the Entering the Pool: Language). In short aim to submit next week and upload the eMedical form you are given by IOM as proof of medicals.

https://www.nairaland.com/5471101/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/655#91820223

There was an allowance for not submitting medicals during the COVID severe lockdown period, but you needed to include an LOE with your eAPR saying COVID was the reason for not submitting medicals...I guess this would not apply to you given that Nigeria is fully open COVID-wise.

my challenge is that the earliest date IOM is giving me is November 3rd. This i got via email. The link hasnt worked all day. Really confused right now because this is the last thing holding me back

I believe you should try to use the link people spoke about.

To other people that can foresee themselves being in this kind of situation, it is better to do upfront medical. The worst thing that will happen is that you have to retest with 40k plus if it expires while waiting for ITA, during file processing or even after PPR comes out. It is sha better than rewriting IELTS where there is no guarantee per se of getting the same of higher score to keep points.

I appreciate your response and really it makes all the sense in the world. I will contact OINP to stop processing, the 1500 whether refunded or not is not an issue. Main thing is the goal.thank you

Question 1 - Yes, $24,083 for family of 4 (check exchange as at when you submitted in July)
Question 2 - No, it must be $24,083 or more at the time of submission
Question 3- it depends but save to include a LOE if it is not the usual amount paid into the account ( any substantial lump sum that seems like you're tryin to pad your POF should be explained to avoid red flags)

Goodluck.

Candidates on 465 and above should not be doing Ontario PNP or at most miss a document on purpose to buy time. That cash is not here.

Try Qlife https://www.qlifefamilyclinic.com/cim-terms-and-conditions
OR
gatecrash IOM and/or Qlife......beg/grovel till they give you a slot
OR
Find someone to swap with for Nov 3
OR
Redo IELTS to give yourself more time

I would not recommend submitting your eAPR without medicals even with an LOE about trying to get an appointment and not getting one - seems to me like a very risky option that could end in PT (premium tears) if you meet a military VO.

Good luck!

If your application is still on submitted withdraw it asap and send a mail to them requesting for a refund.

Refunds takes about two weeks.

All the best
