See ah, indiscipline is part of Nigerian culture. Imagine environmental protection and sanitation is left for the government alone.
The government of Abia state can generate millions or billions from violators of environmental protection and sanitation rules via fines/Levi alone.
2. Recycle of those waste can income and employment.
Government should make massive investment in environmental protection and sanitation.
3. Government should make strike environmental protection and sanitation rule via bill in the state Assembly that will;
i. Penalized deliberate environmental pollution via rampant/uncoordinated waste disposal/littering.
ii. Penalized and criminalize duping of refuses and other toxic waste in water ways/ drainages, apart from designated collection points.
3. Ensure weekly or biweekly or monthly environmental sanitation,fully backed by law.
4. Revive and revitalize environmental health officers house to house visit,food/meat inspection,compulsory screening for food vendors/hoteliers/butchers etc.
This alone can reduce transmission of diseases and parasites like salmonelliasis,plasmodiasis,helminthiasis etc.
