I dont get why pple make it sound like dual nigerians playing in our national teams is a bad thing. Isn't that some sort of racism. Let the best players play, locally born or foriegn born, its all to our advantage. If NPFL improves to NT level, still to our advantage.
No one said so. Just stop counting your eggs before it's laid.

You keep calling them, touting them as Super Eagle, then they go behind you and represent their country of birth

Looking at the shortlist for golden boy and all the European nations that are improving through Nations League, I fear that the gap between Africa and Europe will get worse in the next decade.

we need to start our own nation's league or equivalent in Africa. The Gap is going to be wide especially in Fifa ranking and others

You're a sad Mr.

Where did I imply that his father is of no importance? Please? He should have taken 3 years off to mourn na.

You lack substance, that's why you've rushed to call me a hater using football as a cover. Man! I never attacked his person, I only made mention of the fact that he was trash for a long while, from Udinese, to Granada, to watford before he managed to hit it, at that point he still was useless to the National team, all these, I can recall from the top of my head, no google needed.

You implied that I'm giving Dessers a soft landing because he's new to the team and I responded by saying, Ighalo was trash for a while and we were patient with him till he picked up at the AFCONQ and subsequently the AFCON proper.

What Osimhen has done at 21, did Ighalo achieve half at the same age?
Ighalo was not trash at Granada and Watford.

Let us stop worshipping foreign born players.
How are we sure Obinna Nwobodo is not better than eberechi eze.
Players born in Africa find it difficult to be recognized on time.
Obinna Nwobodo was this prodigy who bossed the Nigerian league but unfortunately ended up in Hungary.
He was one of the best players in the Hungarian league but at last he is now in the Turkish league but he wont start playing
until late November because of injury.
He probably was too desperate to go to Europe and jumped at the first opportunity.
The Nigerian media should be celebrating him as our next play maker instead of someone who doesn't want to play for us.
What you are looking for in Sokoto is inside your sokoto or pocket
This is why i like IDENNA's views sometimes. They are objective.
You should go and look up what the word OBJECTIVE means.

Its kinda obvious that selections under Rohr isn't all about Form to me. It goes both ways. But until Dele is in between the sticks like Maduka was, I'd not join anyone to write him off. That's just it.

Maybe if CAF had something like Nations League, this kine talk of good or no good go don stop. Till then.
Most of them are writing him off because of some certain monikers and it doesn’t make any sense

7. Chukwueze, Chuks, Chukwueze... (wait till I drop my international break review and I will be as candid as I can be on Chukwueze. But let me give you a hint: He was our worst winger of the international break! You know I love him but I need to cane him too. He wasn't all that bad but overall he was bad. Case closed. I will return with more on this).

But una sabi do meltdown shaa... Remember that we didn't have the full complement of our squad. We had to test the depth available and test we did and the results are our discoveries. So relax. We haven't even finished reinforcing the team b'cos a few more are coming in.

The problem is they were active in a period when our football league was good and so the need Nigeria had for them was not much.
I mean fashanu was not good enough for our national teams then. Although they could have collected more caps for Nigeria but men our local talents may put them on the bench.

If it was now with the decay in our football they will walk straight into the first team
Yeah. Even at that, most of them were still better than the current crop of Switchers. Yet they no reach 5or 7. The handwriting has always been there. I doubt with this clueless Southgate, any of that will change anytime soon. E go pain some people. Na their choice sha. The cycle happens each decade. Smh

Sir, you have raised a valid point and also answered your own criticism...where did he end up? Hungary..Where is he now? Turkey. So we should stop pursuing excellence and settle for mediocrity all in the name of "our own"?
So calling a player from the Turkish first division is mediocrity

But calling players from championship and segunda is excellent

At least since SE cannot make 18yo to start in GWG, they can do with 20yo upwards. So by end of a decade, such numbers are seen. 37goals don tey too much.

Jst WC and UCL remain for him. He'd have done so if he was at Madrid sha. Best of luck to him.

Its sickening.

Its obvious that its not by form or consistency for that GK spot. But hate is making many analyse the best BTW lower divisions to now justify who deserves to start. I never knew such a day would come. Very funny.

Looking at the shortlist for golden boy and all the European nations that are improving through Nations League, I fear that the gap between Africa and Europe will get worse in the next decade.
Notice they also play more games than African NT and more youngsters also get to see starting shirts more likely.

And Caf is thinking its still ojoro when they outperform us all or leave us behind.

I love Arsene Wenger's Analysis of a Modern World of Football. The way the game is seen must change. Especially the time waiting for WC and stretching of qualifiers with just club football as thr only hindrance to a shorter playing time for that.

If Caf get sense, they should keep wallowing in Foolishness. Africa should wake up. That Golden boy list should be having at least 5African Youngsters. Hype or not, on it.

I feel one of the best way is to give the cadet boys a spot to shine earlier on the NT too, since club rarely provides that as it does for the Europeans.

I believe this current guys would try to break and set new records, expecially that Yekini own... Osihmen is just 21, he's got 8 caps and 4 goals for the eagles... He's such a goal threat that if eagles play 10 matches I expect him to contribute 4-6....

On Neymar, I know many people particularly do not like him, his antics, his style(of recent tho, there's a lot of maturity) But he is the most gifted footballer I have seen hands down... Bar the 2 "Goats" nobody comes even close... He creates and he takes chances... I'm his Biggest Fan....
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by daveP(m): 11:12am On Oct 16, 2020
Africans should be as busy as the Europeans during the breaks as well. Na only qualifiers and friendlies dey to make Africa something ni. Altho Pa Wenger has said Thr Nation's League is still faceless and confusing, as people can't relate with it, hence the need to lower thr timeframe between fifa Competitions, Africa won't do bad if they got theirs. We'd see many newborn stars in no time and more ratings.

Officiating also needs improve. Dunno about Var sha.

Yeah. Victor should break that Record easily. Nacho follow up close too.

Thats if both score 3/year for the next decade. That should do!!

My own take is after 2 full games, i can conclude about hik in the GWG. Till then. Even Agbim wasn't written off so fast and so bad as many are doing for Dele. Agbim got games before he was off. Till then
