I think it has something to do with the launcher, I can only access it with the system launcher.

Most sellers on Aliexpress now use DHL only as shipping method for these phones and it incurs extra charges almost all the time.

China versions of Redmi note 7 received MIUI 12 around July/August and other versions are still on MIUI 11. "Soon" could be anytime from November.
