People are sacrificing their time, their lives to give you a better life and you're complaining.

You're lucky I've repented.
Pocohantas has never struck me as bright. I thought that was all though, never knew she is also shallow, myopic and selfish to the core. Awful traits for one person to possess.

Emotions are running high, and a good number of the protesters simply do not care. This protest is bigger than a single individual, and I guess we're looking at the big picture now. People will sacrifice ohhh. Bad roads, police collecting bribe, or vip convoys too dey cause traffic.

But the O.p has a point still. It would be very awesome if some of these heroes designate themselves as traffic wardens to ease the flow of traffic. Just for the sake of emergencies. No one has to lose their jobs too. Lets do anything and everything to add credibility to this thing. Its pointless dancing and doing meet ups in the name of protest, na who protest we give bobbi, toto, and all that rubbish.

I have no plans of doing that sef. I posted a screenshot of donations as at last week and someone said it is a lie. The person doesn’t the know the group responsible for receiving and disbursing most funds. A lot of them are just doing bandwagon on social media and are totally oblivious of the work being done. grin grin

I am selfish, yes. However, no energy to shalaye, body dey pain me sef. I’ll see what the forthcoming days bring...

You're getting something wrong even though I understand you perfectly. Nope, people are not scared to talk, they're quiet because they're seeing the bigger picture.

These protesters are not all jobless, some abandoned their jobs to protest, some closed their business, some put contracts on hold, why? Maka na ahu ihe ka ubi, ere oba.

It's difficult to have a protest as huge as this and not have traffic, people are traffic after all.

Now if you allow movement of vehicles where there's a huge gathering of people like this, you will records deaths. Some drivers are either high, mad, highly mad or madly high.

Any person wey dey pursue something dey run past something.

If getting up by 3am to beat traffic will help you get to work early, please sacrifice your sleep for the sake of this.

These people did not block roads in the beginning, it was when a driver knocked someone down and the protesters were blame for his death that idea to block roads came.

I understand your job is important to you but what we are after surpasses individual needs.

Inconveniences to the government? Or to the people who are also part of the protest?
I don't think you people seem to understand that this protest is a war we cannot afford to lose and the government is still acting unserious. This protest will very likely drag from weeks into months. Does it still make sense to keep people gridlocked for that long?
Also, I don't really know if you're conversant with a lot of what's going on in this protest but fluid traffic is beneficial to even the protesters on ground. The other day, inhalers got to one of the locations just as someone was having an asthma attack. Imagine if The vehicle transporting it had been stuck in traffic for just 30 more minutes?
You talk about understanding. Well, show a bit of that too. It's not us against you. We're all in this together. Nobody needs to come and stop you. Keep on frustrating the people who are a part of this fight and watch your fellow soldiers desert the battlefield.

ALOL !! the surest way to inconvenient the govt is thru the people, afterall its a govt by the people, from the people and by the people .., one thing vital to governance is stability, no responsible govt can ignore instability, trust with all the attention the protest is pulling across world even a dead govt wil response it just a matter perseverance, determination & sustaining our credibility.
I have lived lagos all my life and if there anything synonmous with lagos it traffic, on a normal day the moment you enter berger you start feelin it, infact traffic is the major reason some of my friends determine not to move to lagos ... don't understand why traffic is such a big deal, there was no protest the day i spent 2hrs just frm ikeja along bridge to zinc trekkable distance.
If these challenges are new your submission would av made sense, buh are existing problems so whats the fuss all about again.
Revolution comes with so much pain, loss and inconviences, buh the aftermaths is benefit for life, remember success has a price, so if inconveniences will aid our course, so be it. you can either join us or bear with us.

No problem. Until someone's child, parent or relative dies because they could not access medical help as a result of this gridlock.
The way people like you jump to conclusions or project emotions online. You think everyone who's lost someone to this SARS menace is supposed to be as illogical as you are. It's exactly because I've been affected by it that I don't want folks like you that can't seem to see the big picture to sabotage this protest with your narrow-mindedness.
If you feel say na you suffer for SARS hand pass, go and form your own faction and don't disrespect the pains of everybody else simply because they're trying to be considerate.
People have died in the course of this protest. It would be an insult to their sacrifice for this whole thing to fall apart simply because of petty issues that could simply be resolved through dialogue and compromise.

It is very barbaric and negates the tenants upon which they are protesting.

The constitution that guarantees freedom to protest, also guarantees freedom of movement.

Protesters can go on with their legitimate action without encroaching on other people's right.

Leaders of tomorrow indeed!

2 days ago,a man could not visit his pregnant wife in the hospital because the roads were blocked.

What a country!
Hypocrisy every where!

Please don’t let our online MLKs see this.

The man mustn’t go to the hospital to see his wife and newborn. They are fighting for his newborn.

The woman can wake early as 2am to come home or stay back at the hospital. CEOs are aware of the situation, I guess this extends to hospital owners- they can allow her stay a few more days FOC. All these options are way easier and selfless suggestions.

I was in traffic twice today; back to back and it's no longer funny

I wholeheartedly support the protests, but I think it would be more effective if it's channelled to the right people

Police stations
Police HQ
Government parastatals
NASS building and their members houses

Today wasn't funny abeg. A large group blocked a whole lane, and was showing cardboards to us in traffic
