Dear Friends,

On a rather deeper look at things, Police brutality is the topmost of the agitation but the anger and fury is deeper, bottled up for many years. An oppression our fathers have endured and the children now say No More, Enough is Enough!

In the context of the current scenario “SARS” has become a metaphor.

“SARS” in our society today represents all the inefficiencies, corruption, structural imbalances, faults and All the shenanigans of the Political class.

If this present fury does not inspire an overhaul of the Nigerian system, then we may be headed for another restless round of 60 year of disastrous merry go round. This Nation needs a RESET NOW!!

It’s a good time to negotiate the fixing of this great Nation.

How long do we keep singing; Nigeria has great potentials? Let those potentials start working for good

If we must tell our selves the bitter truth as a people we urgently need to fix these;

* A drastic cut in cost of governance
* Federal Ministers shouldn’t be more than 10.
* Remove the lofty attraction in public office
* Reduce the powers of the centre and decentralize reasonably
* Fix our defective constitution
* Reset the civil service
* Create regional economic/developmental competition
* Allow states to explore their resources/endowment
* Resort to Unicameral Legislature
* No state should have more than 6 Commissioners and 5 aides to the Governor’s office
* It’s either Local council works or we forget about grass-root governance
* Very stern and severe punishment for stealing public funds

The Political Leadership that fixes this nation will be a hero, the people that push for the change will be happy for generations to come. We can then begin to flash our identity as a real great people that we are!!

Corruption which is the bane and most visible problem with this country didn't start in a day, it grew and became enormous overtime, hence eradication of the whole thing can't be done within a day, a year or even a decade. We can't expect them to address all the major issues we're facing in this country, we table it one after the other. Just like it's very easier to add weight, loosing it however can be very tedious. The major reason why I'm now so happy that the people are realising their power. From this month on, we'd be losing the corruption that run in our government with protests both offline and online, by fire by force they must heed our ccries

In democratic settings power has always belong to the people, but we lost the touch of this as a result of the brutality the military era impacted on us, thankfully we're waking up now.

These are all lofty plans that if implemented will definitely lead to a lots of reformations in our national life
The cut in cost of governance must go beyond the usual talking e.g.the Steve Oresanya report must be implemented.

Same as well for fighting graft.There is so much corruption in the land and the only way to kill it is by revolution. Anybody found guilty of corruption should be killed.Nigeria have to imitate the China model to fighting corruption.

This is only one of the reforms that the government must carry out & it must start from the top itself because the executive have encouraged all forms of power abuse being the helm of leadership.A leader's sin is a leading sin.

It's only in Nigeria that everyone knows what's best for the country but no one seems to be doing anything to make it better.

All these stories are too long. Just create stiff penalty for the police and follow the demands below, watch Nigerian police transform overnight. The demands below are structured and planned to kill loopholes efficiently with whatever the police throws, whether SWAT, NCIS or whatever.

Any demand below blood for blood for a murderous Nigerian police officer is a useless demand. Public execution is the least we can ask for.
