Here you go nakuru...I told you your economy is shrinking you were busy making noise...forget it's and mark today's date on the wall ..kenya economy will shrink throughout this year.
They've been shrinking for a long time but cooking the figures had hidden that in the past. That's what the Tanzanians, who know them very well have been saying. Even World Bank rates Dar real estate value above Nairobi's.

#endsars

The protest has gone beyond endsars. It has become a movement. Buhari and the politicians are confused and silent because they know this would affect 2023 elections.
We are turning this into a movement against bad governance. From Nigeria black Africa would be set free!

The major things other African youths can learn from endsars are that the movement is leaderless, nontribalistic and completely fearless.

No, those farms are owned by people from countries such as Netherlands, Belgium, etc. They are the ones covered by the government to government deal.
Bottom line is that some white Zimbabwean farmers are returning to work as tenants of black farmers.

BTW. I didn't know about Senekal when I started this conversation. Looks like black South Africans are also looking towards the Zimbabwean example, not minding what people like 14 and austine1213 says here. South Africa is a country pretending to have reconciled. wink
nope in the video you can clearly see and hear that it's a white Zimbabwean wink

And I was you I'd rather do more research wrt land reforms in SA before having a discussion on it..

What research is necessary about land reforms in South Africa?
It's plain that land reform is a big issue in South Africa and blacks are looking towards land redistribution like it happened in Zimbabwe. Whether the ANC government has the balls to do that is another kettle of fish. But the blacks are aware that about 70% of all arable land are in the hands of white South Africans who are less than 10% of the population. grin
That's why I laugh when black South Africans come here to support the status quo as if they think they can deceive people on social media.

BTW, do you know about Senekal?

This is brilliant. grin
You are absolutely correct. When it comes to hunger, there's no rainbow nonsense. How can 10% of the population own 70% of the land? That system can not last.

land reform in SA is nothing like in Zimbabwe, hence I said go do yor research, secondly 70% of all arable land is not owned by whites, 72% of private individually owned farm land is white owned not 72% of all arable land. This number has dropped to 53% after the latest research.

In total white people own less than 30% of all land in SA.

Is there enough black commercial farmers in SA? ... No there isn't...... do I support fair, positive and most importantly with compensation land reform YES I do.

And yes I'm fully aware of what's happening in Senekal

Whites owning 70% of all agricultural land in South Africa is pure thievery, a fall out of how whites stole Africa's heritage and refused to let it go in South Africa. How can there be enough black commercial farmers when they have historically been squeezed to the unproductive homelands with little arable land?
Land reforms can even be messier in South Africa than Zimbabwe if black South Africans aren't docile, so stop saying South Africa is different. All the ingredients are there. You people are new comers in South Africa and yet the natives have little to call their own, who compensated them over the centuries since their land has been in your hands?

Look bro I know you lack basic comprehension and struggle to read, hence I suggest you reread my previose post.

Firstly Whites don't own 70% of Agricultural land, they own 72%(now 53%) of private individually(very important that you understand the bolded) owned land and less than 30% of total land in SA.

Secondly I never once said there are enough Black commercial famers, in fact I said the opposite!! also land reform(grabs) in Zim left the country bankrupt, Im pretty sure the ANC is very aware of this wink

Lastly my people are new comers in SA? bru do you even history? the Dutch arrived in SA before most of the Bantu people did............with this same logic then the only true inhabitants of SA are the Khoi.

Firstly Whites don't own 70% of Agricultural land, they own 72%(now 53%) of private individually(very important that you understand the bolded) owned land and less than 30% of total land in SA.
Semantics, semantics, semantics! grin
These are the same foggy figures you've always used to deceive black south Africans. It doesn't cut it here. wink
If whites own 72% of all privately individually owned land,(emphasis on bolded) then what about the land held by white- owned companies and land held in trust? Do you realize those ones are not classified as privately individually owned? Of course, most of such land is white owned. grin You can only deceive mumus like Austin. Why do you think land reform is becoming a big issue in your country if whites own only 50% of privately individually owned land?

jln115:

Secondly I never once said there are enough Black commercial famers, in fact I said the opposite!! also land reform(grabs) in Zim left the country bankrupt, Im pretty sure the ANC is very aware of this wink
Comprehension is your biggest problem. Where did I imply that you said there are enough black commercial farmers? My question was how can you have enough black commercial black farmers in south Africa when you have always kept their land to yourselves? That's one of the reasons why South Africa can't have enough black commercial farmers! Read my post again.
And the land grabs are not really what bankrupted Zimbabwe, the international sanctions against Mugabe played a major role.

jln115:

Lastly my people are new comers in SA? bru do you even history? the Dutch arrived in SA before most of the Bantu people did............with this same logic then the only true inhabitants of SA are the Khoi.
What are you even saying here? Did the dutch get to S.A before the Zulus, the Ndobelis, the Xhosas, the Khois?

- why do think the Government didn't include land owned by companies and trusts? Maybe its because that most of that land isn't white owned wink the vast majority of the land not in individual hands are in the hands of black tribes in the form of trusts like the Ingonyama Trust, Communal land , Commonage land and most importantly the biggest single land owner in SA.... The Government that owns around 16% of the total land.

Land is simply a scapegoat, during the first land reform process applicants chose to be compensated 90% of the time with only 10% of applicants choosing the actual land.

- there is more than enough land for many more commercial farmers

- what caused the international sanctions against Mugabe... Also why did Zimbabwe become a net importer of food when its considered the bread basket of Africa?

- as I said with your logic only the khoi are South African and yes the Dutch arrived in SA before the Ndebele and Zulus but not before the Xhosa.

Stop lying. If you take the 72% privately owned farming land your people, who are just 9% of South Africa's, occupy then what is left?
Publicly owned land is just 13% and mostly poor for agriculture. You are very wicked. There can only be enough good land to reach black farmers if you get relieved of some of the land your people are sitting on. Why do you think the ANC is thinking of land expropriation?

How could Zimbabwe cope with the sanctions? It destroyed its economy and currency. Agricultural machineries and chemicals could not come in, the government started bleeding money and could not finance its industries, including agriculture. Bottom line is that they took their land back. Black South Africans want the same but are too afraid to start. wink

Lastly, the Zulus, Ndebele, Xhosa, San, Khoi all got to South Africa before the Dutch. They are part of the Nguni Bantu people(except the San &Khoi of course) who have been around before the 17th century arrival of the Dutch. Apart from that they are all native to Southern Africa, you are not. . wink
