Please I need to know if it will be mandatory for someone who is UAE resident, i.e has an employment visa and works in UAE, but traveled home to Naija on vacation and wants to return to UAE to have a return ticket before he/she can be allowed to leave naija. I want to assume this requirement is only applicable to travelers with visit Visa or am I wrong? Can someone with the correct information clarify this, please.
Resident visa holders need only one way ticket with valid covid 19 test result. Good to go

Hi guys..for visitors that have stays in Dubai for more than 14days and wants to attend to a meeting in Abu dhabi. Will there be free movement in Abu dhabi border or do i have to do another covid 19 test at the border or face quarantine?

Remember! Have stayed more that 14days in Dubai already.

I am not aware if there are special arrangements for visitors but the general rule in this case is that you would do a DPI test. Use it to cross the Dubai/Abu Dhabi border within the 48hours validity period. Just search for the nearest center where you can do it in your Emirate. It costs 50 Dhs. If you are unable to do that, you would have to do another PCR test and cross the border within 48 hours.

Hello guys it's been awhile. Please I came to Dubai early March with Abu Dhabi 3 month visa and I was hoping I will renew another 3 month or a month after the grace period but it was only Dubai Visa that was granted visa change. And I couldn't go home because airpeace with my return ticket isn't flying so I was stuck here . My problem now is , I have an over stay of over 3500AEd already. I don't have money to pay the fine and I want to go home . Please what can I do??

Since you have made up your mind to go home, you will go to immigration office and explain your financial situation. They will detain you for about one to six months depending on how lucky you are and eventually repatriate you home. You will have to bear this brunt because you missed the humanitarian repatriation of UAE government which was opened before now. They will feed, accommodate and waive your fine. There's no negative implications for you.

Wish you all the best.

Thanks so much. Abu Dhabi immigration or Dubai immigration??

But I am ready to pay for my flight tickets I just don't have much to pay for the fines.

Moreover the fines was not intentional. We were given choices to leave or renew visa then, thought we would be allowed to renew but Abu Dhabi visa was not issued .

I can't wait for another one month or more here . Chai. Thanks any ways.

When it's not a criminal offense haba. Moreover they were the one that made me have this overstay, I am sure many people have this same problem especially those with Abu Dhabi visa.

It will be heartless to detain someone that long for such offence.

Preferably Abu Dhabi.

Don't show them that you have money for flight, it simply means you should be able to pay for your fines. You could have used the opportunity of the free flight provided by UAE government which would have saved you a great deal.

With your current situation, the only way you will not spend more than a month is to pay your fine and other requirements such as Covid-19 test, approval from UAE immigration department, and Nigerian government procedures too.

It seems there's no PCR test for Nigerians arriving at Dubai airport as far as your Covid-19 test from Nigeria is valid.

Apply for fine reduction. I think it's around 150aed.

If you have a negative PCR test from Nigeria ,
You won't need to do another one at arrrival in Dubai..just show result and go into town

Hi everyone.. I read some post about those who want to return to Nigeria even if they have overstay fines... Firstly it's possible for you to leave Dubai if you have a booked flight and ready to return to Nigeria. However you will pay the price if you are unwilling to pay the overstay fine... From experience those who did not pay fines when the fines were like around 2000aed were handed 1yr visa ban.. I don't know the procedure as of now.. But based on experience.. They gave them visa ban... They took all the thumb print they could take. And they allowed them to return... Currently limited or no flights are coming into the country because of the unrest and the #endsars situation nationwide.. So you will have to wait till commercial flights resumes... Hopefully nxt week...

Good day everyone
Please I need your candid advice, my flight is scheduled to be on Saturday 31st of this month and my agent asked me to pay for accomodation before getting there but the amount he requested for is much for now because there is curfew so we ain't allowed to move around, what now baffled me is the exchange rate he said
He said one dirham is 130naira
Which wen I checked it is 103naira and I get an Aboki who do d biz so he asked me to pay 105 per dirham
My question is:-
Is it a must to pay upfront?
Can I get the accomodation so easy if I go there with my money?
Am moving to Sharjah pls help a fellow brother

Don’t depend on any AGENT! I repeat, DONT DEPEND ON ANY AGENT!!! Change you money where the rate is favorable for you and fly to UAE. When you get there look for bed space, it isn’t a rocket science. Most of you that depend on agent are the ones that ends up in the street! You most not know anyone to succeed in a foreign land. Search for African bed space on uae bed space and apartment for rent on Facebook. The so called agents are the problem we have here in UAE. Don’t let anyone misguide you please. If your looking for a job, there’re are currently few openings in uae, I recommend Abu Dhabi. And when you get there, have it in mind that you’re not here for skyscrapers nor beautiful scenes, but for work to make money to foot your bills. Meaning don’t restrict yourself to only jobs in city. Go to western region(al Dhafra), and Al Ain, there’re are so much vacancies there.

My one cent to you

This is the biggest employer of labor in the western region, and luckily for us he’s Nigerian.
Good luck!!

Don't pay upfront payments as you might not like the place. When you get here you'll look for accommodation, it's not that hard. 700,800 dirham as shared apartments.

I will advise you change naira to dollars at Nigeria Airport and when you get here you also change the dollar to dirham at Dubai Airport. That's how I did mine.
Please I need to bring some food stuffs from Nigeria. Can you help me?. I will pay if they charge you extra fee.

It’s more than easy. Just go online on Facebook and search for bed space in the location you’re going to in UAE. Don’t hope or depend on anyone or you go see something o. Nigerians in UAE no Dey smile o. Especially those ones that call themselves agents, mostly the ones that pretend to be very close to God by always swearing with God, fear them!

Hello y'all, good evening.

Pls I am planning on relocating to uae next month(Nov).

I want to know if attestation of doc is required to get a job in uae. Also if I require a PCC.

In terms of accomodations and job hunting, how do I go about them.

Your advice is appreciated.

Don’t send money to the so called agent. They’re not to be trusted, especially during this tough period.
130 naira to a dirrham is not fair but 105? It’s almost impossible at the moment. The rate you see online isn’t reliable, nobody will give you his dirham for that rate, including the aboki. I exchanged dirrham for naira yesterday and the best deal I had gave me a dirrham for 125 naira. Some do it for less but definitely not less than 120.
Getting acomodation should not be that difficult, there are many vacancies. Do as suggested here.

If you’ll be applying to job openings where your certificate will be needed(white collar jobs), it has to be attested. Blue collar jobs( helper, security, labour, cleaner etc) don’t require attested certificates.
PCC is not required, currently.
Accommodation- It depends. Some get it through their agents, some get it on Facebook, som book hotel and search around upon landing. There are many ways to go about it.
Job- Job sites( Dubizzle, indeed, naukrigulf, career pages of companies ) , walk-in interview, direct visitations, ,,,,agent(not so reliable).
