With Zaidu performance thus far, tell me why he'll be unjustly dropped from a match day squad.. Later people will start saying things like: "Porto is unfair to Nigerian players". If any Nigerian player fail to make it at a team such as Porto, then HE was simply NOT good enough. Simple!

I agree

Osimhen is probably better in the air than Onuachu

True. Look at the way he was bringing down every long balls , either for himself or for his wingers.
It got to a stage that he was the only target for every long balls because his teammates trusts his aerial ability and knows he will always get to the end of it.

Zaidu's Stats for FC Porto vs Sporting Lisbon CP.

This game was Zaidu's baptism of fire (his first start) and it was against a Big rival and he aced it!! Solid showing from the African "Meep Meep" (AKA Naija Roadrunner) wink

Beautiful assist too.

I just watched Terem Moffi and he reminds me so much of Adriano Leite Ribeiro, ex Inter Milan & Brazilian National Team striker.

Like Adriano, Terem is big, strong, fast, left footed and packs a decent shot.

He'll be a massive asset to the Super Eagles and if he's in the team, we can play 2 strikers up front.... in a 4-1-3-2 or 3-5-2 formation.

i want you to know every player is indispensable i.e no player is a waste different player with different styles I agree with the fact Osihmen is the most suitable CF for us he is a a complete forward and can play different styles and role but onuachu is a better target man than him he can prove useful when we are playing against a very ultra attacking and high pressing that you won't be able to play short passes then Paul can come in you just need crosses and those long ball gbam Goal can come in...so no player is a waste
My man I love they way you are analysing this game just like my good friend thegoodjoe but guess what, some of us here have been watching Super eagles since 1980,infact I can tell you more of Afcon 1980 hosted by Nigeria,Libya 82,Ivory coast 84,maroc 88,meaning I have seen enough to know a good player for national team.

My man Onuachu can't cut it with eagles.

Osimhen's Sofascore match rating and stats

Beast ratings.

Anyway, my very good man. Just wanna point something out. You know, Sofascore always drop the actual final ratings after a match is done and they have properly checked the final stats numbers. 8.0 was the rating at full time alright... But checking again after a couple of more seconds I find it was adjusted to 8.1

So the 8.0 was eventually raised to 8.1 moments after the full time ratings were dropped. So it is advisable to wait for like maybe a full 2 minutes Max after a game is done before you can go check the actual stats ratings.
I have learnt to wait for them to properly collate it all before finally checking and getting the actual stat ratings even though the difference may be very minimal in a few stats parameters. In the end, what you will have are the official stats ratings that were well checked and collated.

Good to see that you even follow Osimhen on the stats app. wink

So in this light... Below is the final stat rating of Vic today.

Tyronne Ebuehi's stats ratings today vs Willem II Tilburg in thr Eredivisie

Ebuehi delivered quite a solid performance as his side earned a 3-0 away win to climb to the top spot of the Dutch Eredivisie although with a further game played than their closest rivals (the likes of Ajax and Vitesse on 9; Heerenveen, PSV and Feyenoord all on 10) who all have games this Sunday.

Ebuehi just keeps getting better in his football comeback story. smiley

Kevin Akpoguma's Stats ratings vs Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga

Kevin played LCB in a three man backline and looked quite assured. His side, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, lost 1-0 to Dortmund courtesy of Marco Reus goal assisted by the Big Lad, Erling Haaland (Elyte89's son grin ).

In all, Kevin was truly quite good.

Omeruo delivered a MOTM display as he helped his side to a 1-0 away win over UD Logrones in the Segunda (AKA La Liga 2).

Also, Saturday being October 17 was Omeruo's birthday. No wonder he decided to put on a masterful show. grin

Only won 1 aerial duel out of 7? That's poor IMO

I've already said it before, if you're tall like palm tree, it doesn't mean you will be good aerially. Aerial threat is not about height but how you impose yourself.

Calvert Lewin, Osimhen, Kane etc, are football average heights, but they have a lot of aerial presence than someone like Onuachu wey tall like iroko tree

You know when people say having Manuel Neuer is like having an extra defender. Having Victor Osimhen is like having a full front 3 in one person. He’s in a different class and Napoli got a bargain

Dey there and be giving excuses for underwhelming players. After how many years in a club and you couldn't secure a permanent squad membership or even get bought by any of the numerous clubs you were loaned to. It can only point to one thing, that you've not been up to standard.

I used to have the same school of thought about a Porto conspiracy against our players , but never again.
