Sanral is your national highways authority. Similar to the us highway system. The equivalent in Germany is Bundesstraße, which is the national highways authority. When Bundesstraße becomes controlled you get autobahn. Autobahn mainly connects cities, while the national highway system is obviously wider. Your sanral, in case you didn't know is not controlled access.

But I don't blame your ineptitude, most german words are misunderstood, but what shocked me the most was someone from the same close language family making the same silly mistake like the rest.
