this is rubbish na
they are fast loosing focus. Armed robbers are in dat prison, rapists, paedophiles, fraudsters etc, funny enough even policemen indicted for extr judicial killings are in these prisons. This is absolutely wrong. What are they fighting for now??.
If the government deploys military because of this issue then they are not to be blamed. If I am the governor, every protester around that vicinity is going into that prison until they produce the criminals they have freed

Of a truth, Thugs and irresponsible fellows are fast taking over this protest

E be things.

“If Orji Uzor Kalu can be walking freely today, why not them?”

This should be some of the thoughts resonating in the heads of the hoodlums that hijacked the protest and took the initiative to break the jail.

P.S No justification for jail breaking angry

What happened to the prison security? The prison management should be held liable.

Who are these people that are trying to give Endsars a bad name in Benin? If this nonsense had happened in Lagos, everyone would blame Tinubu. Should we now blame Obaseki or Oshiomole?

See, the earlier we accept that the protest has been hijacked by all sort of interest, the better for us. Nobody is trying to give the protest a bad name, the protest is too uncoordinated and directionless. Everyone is doing their thing the way they like. The priority of Benin protesters is to break out some of their criminal colleagues from prison and that is what they have achieved.

The protesters need to halt the protest for now, articulate/harmonize their demands properly and engage government on how to implement all the demands. Uncoordinated protest will lead to escalation of criminality all over the country. This is the time to be strategic and reasonable.

You mean there was no resistance at all from the securities? Are they not armed?

Breaking into a prison is a criminal act and not protest. They should have used force to resist the criminals.

I didn't mention any name. but I know govt is working hard to kill the protest. criminal elements are also having a free reign because d police have abandoned their core responsibility. some elites are for and against the protest. This protest is local and protesters say what they want depending on their location, there is no central command and that is how a restructured naija wud look like- everyone facing his wahala

You are right and talked like a sensible person....but how will thugs overtake one of the most secured prisons in the SW without any restriction or fight from the prison guards?isn't it suspicious?

Besides, the real criminals like Orji kalu,Alison madueke, dino melaye and co. who stole billions of dollars collectively should be the ones in prison if the ones that stole peanuts are there
