top echelon bawo? they are all opportunists at PMB's pleasure
All politicians have opportunists and hangers-on, Tinubu inclusive.

Even LGA Chair, has his own "oso-ahia".

As long as they have Buhari's undivided attention, they are as powerful as you can think.

Precisely. When PMB goes, they go also. Don't we all remember Michael Aondoakaa under Yar Adua or Pius Anyim under Jonathan? Where are those opportunists and accidental beneficiaries of power today in comparison to Tinubu who power flows through naturally, perpetually and effortlessly decade in and decade out?

The guy you respond to sounds like a power groupie who views things from an office worshipper perspective.

He is yet to make the important distinction between those who are naturally powerful by virtues of their character and deliberate actions as against those who step into powerful positions by dint of good fortune or coincindence.

The former always endure while the latter come and go at the courtesy of truly powerful men like Tinubu, PMB, OBJ etal.

as long and powerful as APC is still intact, APC has lost some states because they went apart in those states and same will be at the National level if they continue to go apart. Folks in Abuja are tenants for as long as the landlords [PMB and Tinubu] are still together

He is telling you the truth bro. Have you ever wondered why GEJ who topped out as a President is virtually forgotten today, with zero influence, while Tinubu who left the official limelight as a Governor is universally treated as de facto President of Nigeria today by Nigerians themselves and foreigners alike?

Not everyone has to like a real leader but no one can ignore such a leader. This is the case with BAT and why he appears, singularly, to be the only non-Northerner capable of rattling the Cage of Hausa/Fulani many believe to be "owners of Nigeria".

So in other words, you think he is running for President and will win?

No. The North think so. Hence all their actions. They know Tinubu is the only Southerner who can stop them.

If BAT returns home to say nothing anymore about politics and turns his back and that of his political machinery and might on the agitations of the South to produce the President in 2023 then best believe your next president is a Northerner who will gain the seat very easily as well without the slighest fight or challenge from any Southerner.

The south has always been full of myopic, backstabbing and egocentric people who have ensured the South is not what it should be in comparison to the less educated and universally less influential North. Beyond Nigeria, it is the South that is virtually everything about Nigeria. From Music, entertainment, academics literature to sports, industry, diasporan brilliance etal.

This reality is not reflected in Nigeria where South, politicians and ordinary people alike, is full of vainglorious and emptily egotistical characters always wanting to reap where they have not sown.

So let us keep watching to witness the end result of Southerners celebrating what they see as Tinubu being "cut down to size".
