but what's the alternative allowing outright chaos? at least with sanwoolu he's been begging and reaching out to the protesters before today's escalation. from reports the situation in benin city had been escalating since weekend. however the president's nonchalance and silence added fuel to this fire
Obaseki actually spoke out even though he was not as forthcoming as Sanwo olu, he supported a "Peaceful Protest" and condemned the thugs that attacked protesters in Ugbowo and Auchi. Even shuaibu condemned the attack live on Channels last night

i don't support Govt but really releasing prisoners? it's also plausible criminal elements using cover of "protests" with the help of a sympathetic warden could have helped with the breakout thank God Edopesin has posted links to videos. watch and be the judge
The video proves nothing. We just saw people running towards people watching from afar of. Who opened the gate? grin

Did the protesters brake the gate? How come there is no close pictures of video of the gate? grin

you're an ignorant of what you claim you have idea of, you have no bit of idea about this system.
now back to my previous preposition i said there must be an agreement between the four FA's england I.e home nation agreement which include the UK, Wales, Scotland and ireland and according to the article 6 of FIFA regulations which is mainly based on switch of allegiance state this and the agreement between the quad which necessitate the need of this quad ( UK,wales,Ireland and Scotland) to approve the switch of allegiance of this players who wanna switch was agreed in 2010 and these so called players have no British passport it either they have UK ,wales, Scotland, Ireland.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA_eligibility_rules#Home_nations_agreement

this is a link for you to know more
so let this be the last time you gonna ever boast of your British football knowledge you have no idea of this system as a matter of fact ya a Stark illiterate when it comes to this.
You still ignorant, using Wikipedia.

the dude is spewing trash I was laffing when he was talking about article 8.1 he has no fucking idea about it I have the full documents with me and it online sef if you wanna have it

Article 8.1. explains that such individuals may "only once" request to change their national team association, subject to the following conditions:
"a) He has not played a match (either in full or in part) in an official competition at “A” international level for his current association, and at the time of his first full or partial appearance in an international match in an official competition for his current association, he already had the nationality of the representative team for which he wishes to play.
b) He is not permitted to play for his new association in any competition in which he has already played for his previous association."
In short, that means a change cannot occur if a player has been capped at senior international level in a competitive international match, such as a World Cup qualifier. Senior friendlies, therefore, are not deemed sufficient to tie a player to an association.
In order to make a change of association, a player must "submit a written, substantiated request" to the FIFA general secretariat and the governing body's Players Status Committee make a decision on that request. Once a request has been filed, a player is not eligible to play for any national team until all the paperwork has been processed

so my brother this is everything bout article 8.1
Where is your position about 4 nations consent for approval, educated and informed manhuh

There is nothing funny about this issue sir

Washington Post, Premium Times, Channels TV, Punch newspaper and other major media outlets carried the headlines of the sort of "Protesters break in Prison Facility" but you're trying to pin this down on the government? When the protesters were literally encouraging the prisoners and the prisoners in turn were thanking the protesters for freeing them!

Prison wardens also destroyed police stations in Lagos

There were two cases.

Those who escaped through the fence and those that escaped through the gate.

1. If the protesters freed them after breaking the gate, why do they still need to escape through the wall?

2. How did they break the iron gate from outside?

We can't believe both accounts until we see proofs in regards to Lagos but for Benin, I don't believe protesters freed the prisoners until I see them break the gate in a video.

I have also not affirmed warden opened the gate but I still smell foul play.

Just ignore him regarding this from now on, John Barnes was born in Jamaica, moved to England at 12 and played for England, Ryan Giggs was born in Wales, moved to England when he was 6. Barnes was allowed to play for England while Giggs wasn't. This is how complex and rigid UK eligibility is Komekn, I'm sure you'll label it prejudice and bias on their part.
