Please, what is your grouse with Nigerian youths, calling them thugs and politically misfit to hold any elective positions.

Who told you that the protesters released the prisoners?

Why so much hate on the youngsters when the people who ruined the country and continues to do so are the old men and women?

Please, leave the youths alone, they are only asking for a better future.Perhaps,if old people like you did the right thing, they wouldn't be on the streets.

You're welcome.
what strategies to achieve this objective by Looting? Or blocking express way ...we are protesting .......can u protest in Hong Kong, thailand by youths

What if all these scare tactics fail?
What then become of Buharis presidency?

Can someone answer this?

Because if the protesters dont back out
And things go south

I'm just sorry for this government undecided

I knew it!
This has, been your mindset about the protests lmao cheesy

Apparently you are not too happy about the shots that the younger ones fired at the older generationtongue

Well...
Let's just watch and see how it goes
Cheap shots you mean. They came out to fight oppression. They should focus on that instead of aiming cheap shots. Every generation fights her battles. The independence they are enjoying now was fought for by a generation. The removal of History from schools really caused a problem. Iam sure many of them aiming cheap shots at the older generation do not know the person that moved the motion for independence. Even the democracy being enjoyed now was fought by people. Iam sure you are amazed at the names in that post.

Make una focus and leave the older generation alone. Nigeria did not start from una generation.

If it's true that soldiers are shooting at unarmed protesters in Lekki, then Buhari has just broken another record of the lowest lows (he currently holds the record though, so he's just breaking his own records).

When the protest started, there was no chaos nor looting until the wicked old men and women sent in their thugs to loot, commit arson, attack the peaceful protesters and burn government properties.

Blocking the major roads is a means to get the undivided attention of the government and force them to do our bidding because we pay them every month.

Yes,people do protest in Hongkong and Thailand.

Please, let the youths express themselves, the economy is going down the drain, insecurity is on the high, poverty is ravaging the mass, the government is taxing the populace to death, our universities are unending strike.

If you don't support them, please do well not to call them names, they are not the ones who destroyed this country.

We all want reform in every facets of our society. We're not asking the police to go,rather the tactical units that are unprofessional should be scrapped immediately.

These police units were there but we had several cases of kidnap, bank robbery, ritual killings etc and non of them ever get to arrest the perpetrators ON THE SCENE .

We should work together for a better country, if you have a bright idea to make the politicians work for the people, please bring it to fore.

They should give the sequence of the implementation and the timeline for every step and not just by mouthing it and expect us to go back home just like ASUU did in 2009 and they're still going on strike till date.

Would you reform a police that allows election rigging, doesn't have any power to investigate big corrupt men.

Serves as security guards to the elites.

Someone once summarised History like this "everyone who tells you to be under them in order to save you from an enemy is the VERY ENEMY THEY ARE DESCRIBING".......

In our times I can call names such as Buhari, Oshomole, Lauretta, Lai Mohammed

The argument you responded to is flawed.

The military never left, they just changed their clothing.

Oga Ahib,

I beg you in the name of any deity you believe in to leave this thread alone and stop bringing political discussions here.

The thread we are in can be found in the investments section of nairaland. There is a political section please i am pleading with you.

I have a lot of respect for you but please let this stop.

This was how Stockmarketnigeria.com crashed.

SMN was the place the best brains in the nigerian stock market congregated to analyse the NSE and have robust discussions until some idiots came and muddled the whole place with political talk. The site is no more.

Please move all your political discussion to the politics section, there are enougth threads there.

Thank you

@Ahib, I am so surprised this is coming from you, honestly.. I am a silent follower on this forum and I must say I always look forward to your opinion here same as with @Oga Emma. You guys always make a lot of sense with your analysis.

If you don’t believe in what the youths are doing, you also don’t have to castigate them. Nigeria must be re-written and just maybe this is the time.
