You might as well say protesters killed themselves and planted this. You can also fail to consider the name of the officer because it is against your agenda.

See bro, If you are happy about the shooting and you enjoyed it maybe the sounds of gunshot gave you a hard on , say it. Nobody will beat you.
Don't hid your fascination because of people on a faceless forum

After seeing sss, directing thugs in abuja, I'm not overlooking them doing the same thing in lagos....abuja and lekki protest grounds are the strongest in Nigeria. Do you even know doing things like this is part of sss job?

Doing stuffs like this is not a part of the job of DSS. In a shithole country, maybe.

But why pin it on the army? They could have dressed as thugs couldn't they?

Stephandesward:

Let's try to be logical, and put emotions away, with the breakdown of law and order across the state, protesters ought to have reasonably stayed away, that's the civic thing to do after the governors call for lockdown and the common sense behind it, to prevent hoodlums from taking over.
Truthfully unless we have more video and observe the mannerisms or the shooters, we can't really say if it's the army.

If you don't have sense and you just pumped up with emotions, I don't care for you.

Stephandesward:

My logical part overrides it, why I can't phantom what they were waiting there for, when the state was already a war zone....my emotions wont push me to unnecessary danger.

Stephandesward:

Did you anywhere see me defending the attackers, I'm pained more than you all, I'm infuriated, I'm even wondering why the officer that led the team, if it's the army...didn't sign for tear gas.
I personally wouldn't obey the order to shot into a peaceful protest.
It doesn't still change the fact, that based on happenings in the state, and killing of policemen and so on, the protesters should have just stayed away, what point were they trying to make?

I thought you don't smoke weed cheesy cheesy grin

To those saying Nigeria should burn, careful what you wish for, most of your leaders have more than one passport, how many Nigerians can say the same? What you are asking for is Anarchy, greater than whatever we have now. It's the ordinary people that will pay the price for it.

Do soldiers on camo where their ranks on shoulders?

The silence from the presidency and military heirachy is deafening. Including the NASS. Over 14 hours and nothing from anyone in the federal government.

cheesy and y'all don't think the army that is denying it when clearly we are seeing soldiers still on the perimeter of Lekki will not plant all this things to deviate attention.
An army that will deny her own men who are mercilessly killed by iswap will do anything to stay clean.

The army are still learners when it comes to mind game. And it's showing from the way they are running in circles with their media press releases

I was once following all the military threads in the foreign section. I've stop following all.

I'm still on this thread because of 2 things. And one of it is because of the perfect and accurate update I get from the North East, from Sam wink. If only he knows how much I enjoy reading his live report from the North East.

I can't wait for him to write his book. smiley

Think man. How comes the live rounds were spent and the blank rounds remain unspent?
Any sense in that.?
Except the blank rounds are purposely dropped on the floor to justify something in the future (cover loop holes)
There's no way to explain it.

True this, but is the military so dumb that they will send troops with clearly identifiable tags to do such dirty jobs. They started by removing cameras at toll gate but didn't think of sending "unknown soldiers" to do the dirty job.
But either way Buhari is responsible for lives and property in the country and he has failed woefully

I condemn the killings but

Which soldiers will come on uniform for such operation? Those tags aren't for camo. Moreover it's very rare for them to drop such exhibits easily.

Moreover them no dey send commisoned officers for this kind dirty job. Even if they will, they won't be more than 1 and he'll just be there to supervise and give orders.

Buhari lacks empathy. His body language during the protests got me worried hence I wrote here last week hoping the response wouldn't evoke a disproportionate response. Many hours and dead youths later, still nothing!!

Continued silence would only plunge the country deeper into this crisis and its sad to think this is a president?

Have you ever seen a spent blank round before?
The gun powder would have left a significant burn marks on the tips. On a normal day the tips of the blank rounds are shattered.
Now this are stainless blank rounds.
If those rounds are spent. It would be very obvious.

Abdel Fatah El Sisi killed almost a thousand Egyptians at rabaa Square some years ago, he still received billions of dollars from US in military aids. Whether there will be sanctions or not is all about politics and lobbying.
