Whoever decided to start shooting at protesters should be blamed for this. We all knew it would lead to a dangerous escalation of violence.
I hope we can still claw our way back to sanity.

If they just allowed the peaceful protesters to protest in peace, without sending Government sponsored thugs to attack and kill them, without sending army to kill them, none of this would be happening. Maybe by the end of this week, the protests would have ended on its own without any single casualties. Is it not better to have a little inconveniences of protesters blocking roads or obstruction of traffic or blocking tollgate than to have anarchy where there is violence and death? This Buhari regime is just too daft.
