True they are trained for war.
That is doubtful as Boko Haram has proven that for many years.

However, we the protesters don't respect the police. In protest grounds we've chased many of them away and outrightly threatened some.

It shows there were never a police force but group of touts, criminals & hoodlums who were recruited to serve the interest of some people, this has been visible in the recruitment selection process

Plus the protest was getting violent anyway thanks to the touts taking over.

The touts were the handwork of the beasts called leaders even without the protest a sane government would have hold any of her institutions accountable. But since the remittance by the cult group called SARS were hug, hence it became a mountain to reduce their activities.

The best solution would have been to retreat and give government a little time to implement the demands but if they don't, WE MOVE !

That is like giving the devil a second chance. The demands required no time. A sane government on day one will suspend the IGP, dissolve SARS, withdraw police from the roads, allow other sister agency to be as escort for the protesters, day 2 they will setup panel to trail offenders using evidence and give an order for fast hearing. All this alone would have make more sense as no one trust government. But as usual, they want to play politics with people's lives.

Unfortunately the whole thing is getting out of hand. The useless govt escalated the situation by shooting at unarmed protesters. Now everyone is going bonkers.

The only solution will be to bring in more soldiers. People have also been warned to stay at home. Ease stay in your phucking houses or you'll get a phucking bullet in your head. People can just go about burning everything all in the name of vengeance. It will get to a point miscreants and thugs will start going into people's houses to rob them. Anybody seen burning anything will be shot at. Stay in your house. How does burning cars, private businesses and attacking your fellow Nigerian change anything . What kind of madness is this. You know the people who put you in this mess, go after them and stop attacking innocent people. You know Tinubu, obasa, gbaja, and all your house of rep members and senators. Go and face them. At this point the police should not hesitate to arrest and deal with any miscreant caught destroying any property. It is enough.
how I which instead of burning private cars ..privates shops banks...releasing prisoners these people can match to asorock and hold buhari hostage ...with the promise to release him when changes come..that is revolution to me not breaking prisons burning private cars and banks.who even gave them those ideas..
As I speak prisoners way anti sars protesters release yesterday they on raping mode for one hostel back of my house I can hear girls crying and begging but I have a family to protect..no single police on sight..its a rape to kill ..may they rest on...it was not necessary..UWA sorry too we failed u

If we want better country then jungle justice should not be part of the future new Nigeria you and I are clamouring for.

Some police stations have already been burnt. I humbly of the opinion that enough of that is most important now.

Thanks bro, but am to a man of anger. Nigeria is due to reborn and for things to start working for everybody.

Nigeria of my dream is where everyone will have a sense of belonging, where everyone will beat his chest and say am proud to be Nigerian.

Where even if u don't have any work, u can go out there something to do to earn a living will be waiting. Where as a man, u can provide the basic need of ur family which includes; shelter, food, clothes, healthcare, education to ur children without hustling to kill urself in the street.

If these can be done, be rest assured that crime rate in the country will drastically reduced to the barest minimum. Why, because, no matter ur class in the society, there is something for u.

NOTE: not everyone wants to be a millionaire or billionaire or to drive the latest car or build the highest house.

Just the BASIC OF LIVE, that's all they ask, but Nigerian government over the years have directly denied them that.

God bless U.
God bless Nigerians.
God bless Nigeria.

How many stations were burnt prior to deployment of soldiers in Lagos and how many have been destroyed after they were deployed?

And shooting them is the way to go ? You can’t arrest them or disperse them with tear gas and water cannon ? Beat them with koboko and batons? You are a crazy person and I pray one of your people will suffer from this police brutality so you shall partake in the pain I’m currently feeling

Weldone..I saw the video of the Nigerian army shooting upwards to disperse the protesters, yet they didn't heed. This further resulted in a confrontation by the protesters.

Further more, the state was under curfew thus why were the protesters out at that time?

I'm in no way supporting the actions of the military, NO. All I'm saying is that the protesters carry some blame as well

They confronted the military men who tried to disperse them by firing in the air.Now tell me,what do you expect from such action

I infact went out to protest as well but when curfew was imposed I stayed back and obeyed gov't orders afterall our demands have already been accepted.
